Ha! I'm the first one to make a thread about this game. This game... *sigh*... is definitely not the best.

First of all, Mario jumps REALLY high, but he can't jump far at all. That makes the game a lot more frustrating than it was on the SNES.

The second thing is that lots of the levels are left out of the game that were featured on the SNES. I'm assuming that the creator(s) of this game were in a hurry to make this.

The third thing... some of the music tracks from the SNES version were left out as well as the levels. For example, on the level that we call "Yoshi's Island 3" on the SNES version has the music that you can hear on the title screen. I mean, it's good music, but it just doesn't fit on that level.

The fourth thing is that most of the special effects like the lightning in the final battle with Bowser are nowhere to be found. Maybe it was hard to make effects like that on NES games, but the effects could still be better...

The fifth thing is that the ending is only about 15 seconds long. In the SNES version, the ending was like... FOUR MINUTES LONG! Wow...

A sixth thing is that in a level that we call "Yoshi's Island 1" in the SNES version has 3 fiery objects instead of a "Bullet Bill." COME ON!

The seventh and FINAL thing is that there's a world select screen. Also, all the levels are already playable, so you can basically beat the game in like FIVE MINUTES! WE NEED A BIGGER CHALLENGE! Wow...

Well, that's about it. If you think there's anything that you want to ask me, or you've found something interesting about this game also, don't hesitate to tell me. See you later!

PacmanandMariofan : I've always been curios as to this games origins. Why was it made? Why does the creator make nonsensical changes? My guess was this was someone's first attempt at homebrew ROM hacking.

Well, I'm not really sure where this game came from. Maybe you can find it on Google or something. This isn't exactly a popular game.

Oh, I have always hated this pirated game. With physics being horrible, the ending just being 2 screens, and all the weirdest glitches a pirated game can have.

Let me say this:

Offical games > Unlicensed games > Pirated games

(Can't use the left arrow symbol because of word count bug with words not counting after the left arrow symbol.)
