I remember watching Duck Tales a lot as a kid and that show- and the theme?- amazed me. The first game for the NES simply titled Duck Tales was released back in 89/90 and that game is very, fun to play. Fast forward to early 1993 when Duck Tales wasn't on the Disney Afternoon anymore, Capcom released Duck Tales 2, which I think is a good sequel to the game.
Story Scrooge Mc Duck's nephews have found a piece of a treasure map. Now Scrooge wants to go on a treasure hunt with this nephews and Webby (the niece) to find the other parts of the map and treasures.
Sound/Music The music is typically music you'll hear on Duck Tales. It's very up tempo and good. The sound effects are mostly the same from the original game. Music/Sound gets a 10/10
Graphics Have improved from the original game. Since this is a late NES game the graphics have improved a lot. Scrooge looks like he does on Duck Tales so does the nephews and Launch pad. The backgrounds are very detailed and colorful. Graphics gets a 10/10.
Game play Like the original game, this game also have 5 levels. And also?Like the original game, you play as Scrooge once again and you go through 5 different places to find treasures and the remaining pieces of the map. And the nephews and Webby will give you clues like the previous game. One thing new about the game is the little shop which you can buy items for yourself. Basically, the game play is the same as the first game but it's still fun though.
ChallengeThis game is easier than the original game. It took me about an hour and a half to beat it but was still very fun.
Conclusion Even though the original game is better, this game is still good though. It's fun and addicting. So If you liked the first game, you'll most likely like this one to.
