I own about 6 Cds. I don't need to have that many since I can just listen to whatever songs I want on my ipod. But I do have a few, mostly coldplay though.

My mom on the other hand has about 100-150 downstairs in a cd case. She really likes listening to them on the stereo downstairs.

So I personally may not own that many because I have windows media player on my computer, not to mention my ipod and pandora to listen to music whenever I want. But my mom has quite a bit though. Good question!

I used to own around 30 or 40 CDs. However, since nearly every piece of music in existence is probably on youtube, it seems rather pointless to keep or use CDs any more. I got rid of my collection quite some time ago and only kept about 10 CDs which were all Christian artists.  I hardly even listen to those to be honest.

These days there is hardly any use of the music CD. You can just download the song for a little cheaper than buying the physical thing. The truth is is that it is not about that at all. From CDs you can experience much better sound qualities than that of an MP3 download (unless it is scratch but I take good care of my CDs). I also have a few vinyls but they were passed down from my dad as were most of my CDs. I have brought around 20 CDs including every single album by the Chemical Brothers (including the odd EP and single) and own the official soundtrack to scott pilgrim VS the world. I have one of Scroobius pip's albums and I am going to see him live in february!
