Oh boy, another game, Abadox: The Deadly Inner Wars for the NES, a fun shooter, but it is frustrating.

Instructions in my words: I don't know very much, but I will explain as best as I can remember. You are a untitled character with a storyline with no text cutscenes. You have to shoot eye balls, skulls, ground enemies that are to shoot at, and various other bad enemies. You have only 3 lives, but at least there are infinite continues, but that doesn't really help explain why this game is so hard. Want a explainment? Here.

Graphics: 7/10

Meh, regular graphics. Sometimes, graphics look a little hidden, because my TV is a little color broken.

Sounds: 7/10

Decent sounds, as a regular space shooter game, but you got some good soundtracks. Not very much to say, but I am trying to say that sounds are decent, but seem better in later and more modern consoles, but hey, it isn't Nintendo's fault in the 80's for having sound limits on the NES.

Addicting: 7/10

The game is fun to play, although there were some flaws and issues, you may play this for a while before you do eventually stop. Games are fun when it comes to challenge in the game itself, but it goes a little too far.

Difficulty: 10/10

The difficulty is hell, I can't believe the first level is so hard without turbo or cheats! The problem, you die in one hit, from... EVERYTHING!!! Even if you have shields around you which are little orbs that circle around that are supposed to deflect attacks, One-Hit-Knock-Outs still happen. I can barely beat level 1's bosses by not using the spread fire and by button mashing with one finger about 9-11 presses per second. Stage 1 is a 2d view, stage 2 is top-down, and so forth. I can easily beat stage 2's first boss with the bubble gun if I survive all the way to there. In the 2nd section of stage 2, you have tons of enemy fire so if you die, you are so screwed and you might think, "Damn it, the whole game's over, now I can't go back and get my weapon! " Literally, dying once downgrades you back to the small bullet weapon, which is pretty sad. No password system, but there are cheats. Not telling.

Story: N/A?

The story is really hard to tell if it even is a story, I don't know pretty much anything about the story. Sorry, I just don't understand the story, it is confusing!

Depth: 5/10

There is only 6 stages with 2 sections, including the 7th stage which is escaping out of the enemy's ship with some sort of bubble with someone trapped. It gets faster until you make it out. But still, each stage except for 7 has 2 sections, and 7 has 1... 13 sections in the game which equal 6 1/2 stages if you divide that number by 2. So, it really is 7 stages, not much, but I can't beat level 2, so I had to use a cheat to see the later stages and the ending.

Overall, it is a ridiculous game when it comes to frustration, normally, a game is supposed to gradually get harder as you get further in the game, but this game's first level is one of the hardest first levels ever, I am not kidding by saying I can only beat the bosses by button mashing with one hand, and using the d-pad with my left hand. Other than that, it is fun, and if you find a copy, try it. But BEWARE... it's deadly and so hard.

Extra note: all sections of the review except for 3 have the number 7 as a rating.

The only things I would really suggest to you as a new staff reviewer is to watch your grammar and make sure you don't use too much filler.  For example, I had no idea that explainment was a word.  I would also advise using the spell check button, because everyone is bound to make some kind of spelling mistake in their reviews, or a word may not be weird (refer to the word noted above).  I would also stray away from saying things such as your first sentence if you intend to put the review in the staff review section of the game.  While your reviews before your promotion might have included this, it doesn't look as professional, and as a staff member, you should try to look as professional as possible.

I also may suggest that you make your ratings more noticeable, and maybe put them before the certain section (such as depth rating: 5 and then talk about the depth under it).

Remember, as a staff reviewer, you are expected to be professional, as I said before.  But, knowing how much you love reviewing, you can continue to grow as a reviewer in no time.

mlb789 : Oh, ok. I just felt kind of strange when I wrote that first line before the review. I pretty much felt strange because I wanted to write my first staff review, but I could just edit my review so it doesn't have some mistakes or some random unexpected things in it.

Stevie 764 :   I would advise against that.  Revising your review isn't really a good idea especially if you want to grow as a reviewer.  You are one of the best reviewers now, so if you can keep thinking about what you can do better and applying it to your next review, you will grow faster and better than if you just fix it right on the spot.

mlb789 : I accidently edit out the unnecessary things like that first line in the review at the top and putting the "randomly on the bottom" ratings up at the top of the section to avoid some confusion. I do apologize, I did some things wrong. But hey, next week, I will promise that unnescessary stuff won't happen in my reviews again. I might put the original stuff back up since I accidentally edited the review to remove certain things.

The only changes I did were:

Put rates on the top of the section instead of bottom.
Deleted the staff thing at the very top.
I tried checking for typos.

Also, typos were caused by my derpy iPod touch with autocorrect issues. I am afraid I will have to turn off autocorrect because it puts random words to correct my misspelled word.

I like this variant of the review better that what it was the first time.
Keep up the great work and have fun as a staff member.
