This game is very similar to Dig Dug, but it's very unique and innovative. You have about 10 different screens and once you complete them all the game just repeats them and makes the things that are chasing you faster.

GAMEPLAY B+: The gameplay is like Dig Dug and Pac Man combined. The goal is to complete a level by either collecting all the cherry's or defeating all the little enemies that chase you. The controls are not as free felling as Dig Dug or Pac Man, but to make up for the stiff controls. You get a "magic ball" which you can throw at enemies.

GRAPHICS A-: The Colecovision brought the arcade experience home when it was released, and they were not kidding. This game like many Colecovision games, was an arcade game and I was shocked by how good this game looked. The levels are detailed, and for once the objects represent what there supposed to really well.

SOUND A: It was rare games back in the early 80s to have background music. This game has background music and it sounds great. Sure its not EXTREMELY advanced, but hey! It was impressive for the time.

ADDICTIVENESS B: Mr. Do is addicting like many early arcade games. I played until I played all the screens and then I was satisfied. It's not the most addicting game however, and it took me a couple days to really play it in one sitting.

DEPTH A+: I can't help myself. This game has 10 different screens. That was a lot for an arcade game. Donkey Kong only had 4 screens! Most arcade games at the time only had 1!

DIFFICULTY MEDIUM HARD: This game is like Dig Dug on crack. Maybe not level design wise, but difficulty wise. There are a lot of enemies in each levels and they just get faster and faster! Until you can barley play.

OVERALL RATING A:
Here's a little fun challenge, try beating my score below and the first person to do it gets 400 Viz. Its not a lot, but I don't have to much Viz to carry out and I'm saving up for the Beta Test Ticket.

TIPS!
1: Always try to get a letter from the extra, because you can get an extra life and that will be vital
2: Use your magic ball often, so you can get the enemies out of the way, and so you can get some points
3: Try to get the bad guys to line up near the bottom of an apple, which looks like a boulder.

UPCOMING REVIEWS:
reviews you can look forward to.

Pole Position (Atari 5200)
Centipede (Colecovison)
Tempest (Atari 5200)
Demon Attack (Atari 2600) Using a real Atari 2600!

Hope you enjoyed this review and the things I added to them.

Great review!

I've played the Arcade version of this game a lot of times, Didn't knew there was a port of it... Judging by the screenshots, the graphics look excellent!

Not participating on the mini contest. But, Still a good and interesting idea.
Keep it up!

Good review. I would like to try this game sometime since it is a port of an arcade game. Keep up the good work.
