I was playing a Netplay session with one of the Netplay regulars yesterday and we were playing the NES game Contra. There was a little bit of lag, which caused us to die sooner than we likely would have otherwise. It was fine at first, but we kept playing and the person I was playing with kept on dying before we got to the machine. After about half an hour straight of failing, our rage began to build up, especially for the other person. So I decided to ask the question, which games, whether they are playable on Vizzed or not, make you RAGE?

A lot of games... 

Mario games for example, on later levels, they become really harder... Metal Slug games are on the list too, mainly because they get insanely hard. (Arcade games... They're ever harder as heck)
 
Fighting games can make me rage too.

That fish level in Super Mario Bros 3 where it eats you. I think there are a few, but I'm referring to the one where the tide goes up and down in the water world.

Also the icy world and plant world in that game drive me crazy. Of course, I must not forget to mention the sun level in world 8. So frustrating.

Super Mario World in the secret star area. Those levels can get very frustrating fast. They drive me crazy sometimes.

Don't get me started on Kaizo Mario World. I know its a hack but whoever made this really wanted people to feel like raging. When you get to Bowser's Castle, Bowser is INVISIBLE. The first level makes you jump on 5 or 6 bullet bills. That is one game that makes me rage.

The game that make rage is AC( ace combat) because on the hardest difficultly (ace mode) I was about to beat the mission (it was a long one to) then one stray missile hit my plane and I need to start from the beginning. The game is like a arcade game upset with a good story line.

Oh and invisible bowser was what I was used to when I wanted to play Super Mario World online.

That was before I discovered vizzed.

The first time I found out he was invisible it was so hard, but I figured it out, even though he would bounce on me a bunch of times.

In fact all the castles had invisible bosses, so I was relying on luck and watching their fireballs shot at me and the guessing.

Slowly pushing you off a cliff sound very terrifying, maybe I'll check the game out. Is it a multiplayer game?

yoshis island the last part with magikoopa where you have to choose a path with either baby dk, bowser, wario, mario, or peach. all of them are impossible and make me RAGE soo badly!!!

Yoshi's Island is one of my favourite games ever, but I honestly am not sure what you are talking about.

Star Fox 64 makes me rage, i suck so much at it xD. My brothers breeze right by it while i am stuck on the first lvl, dieing over and over.

I tried to play Star Fox 64 on Netplay the other day, but it wasn't very fun.

bobq : Nah, Ninja Gaiden is single player. It's a very difficult game.

I usually get pretty mad at the Mario kart games. Mostly because they cheat. Anytime you're winning frequently you always got screwed on the last lap. Some of the recent need for speed games get pretty frustrating too.

I will have to say shooter games like golden eye cause when u have to aim and it lag it can really screw up your shot and cost u your life. I have that happen to me a lot and I go in a rage lol.

Two games really got to me. One is Cave Story. I just could never beat the last part of the game. Well, it is called Hell for a reason. Watching all those people on YouTube beating that part with only three hearts really gets to me.
The other is Eternal Daughter. The game is pretty hard, but there is one boss I've tried fighting many times, and I keep dying. For those who have played the game, you probably know what I'm talking about. The tank boss kept on shooting out bubbles that would repeatedly result in my demise. I finally resorted to watching a LP, but, even with knowing the tricks, I still could not defeat it. I ended up "rage quitting."

You guys have all names great examples of raging games, although I Have never played Eternal Daughter or the cave game before.

I know what you mean by the first person shooters. The is the main reason why I tend to avoid those games. Especially 007 Goldeneye.

As for Pokémon, I agree completely with the "can't escape" dudes. They are usually Raticate and they use hyper fang and then I have to head back to the poke center to heal.

I never got into Sonic, but I can imaging getting so far and not getting any checkpoints so when you die, its back to the beginning.

It's like playing Super Mario Bros. in the last world where there is no halfway point.

I believe the game that made me rage so hard was called The Lost Levels. It is a Super Mario game that is extremely difficult to beat.

I think it took me a month  or so to make it to the final castle, and then another month to actually reach Bowser and beat him. That game is all about timing and you have to jump early and stuff. It is such a tedious game.

I did manage to get past the machine on level one of Contra though. The second machine is much more difficult though. :/

I get mad when I play mega man x 1, 2, and3.
