The Planet filled with Mako the energy source of the evil that was soon to come.

Final Fantasy VII was released november 21st 1997 in parts of North America.
Final Fantasy VII was a revolutionary game featuring a "Free-Roam" like world map in 3d
Hours of play time, Extra hours of mini games and side quest.

The story line of the game goes like this.

The planets main energy source is the blood of the planet and a small rebellion group called AVALANCHE is trying to stop the use of Mako (the planets blood) but this soon turns into much more then the average hippy's of the futures plans to save the planet.
Sephiroth has returned after 2 years of being pronounced dead killing the president Shin-Ra
Starting the journey of the life time to save the world from the evil and purely awesome and yet demented Sephiroth.

Wasn't really much of a review, more of an overview of something that we all pretty much know by now.. 'tis quite an old game by now, although you did cover small bits of its appeal...
