Space Invaders was an arcade game released in 1978. In 1980 it got ported onto the Atari 2600, and the game had a huge amount of game variations 112 game variations. That was a lot for the time and it impresses me how Atari managed to cram that many game variations in one cartridge. The game is a timeless classic and is a recommended game to try out.

STORY: The story is pretty simple. Aliens are invading earth and you have keep them from landing by shooting your laser cannon.

GRAPHICS: I think that the graphics are better then the arcade version. There's more colors and the aliens look slightly better. They may be simple but remember. This was released in 1980 for an Atari so give it a little slack.

SOUND: There's not much to the sound. Just a few beeps, but that's okay some games don't need very much sound.

ADDICTIVENESS: The game can be addicting depending who you are. I found the game very addicting.

DEPTH: The reason why I gave this a 10 is because of the amount of game variations there are112 game variations some have 2 player some have invisible aliens, some have moving shields, some have different widths of your beam. There a lot more but I'm not going to list them all. That's something for you to discover.

DIFFICULTY: I found this game to be pretty tough. It will take a lot of practice to be good at it, depending on what game variation your on depends on how tough the game is.

OVERALL RATING 9
A true classic is what this game is. I might be a bit misleading since I didn't get to enjoy this back in its day, but even I think it's great fun. I recommend you play because it is very fun.
