Hello all, first time posting to this portion of the site because the site seems to be so well designed and all, but I need some help with a minor roadblock in my enjoyment of the RGR.

Ever since the N64 plugin was split into Mupen and 1964 choices for emus, I've been having some problems   On Mupen, I want to configure the controls so that I can play N64 on my GC controller.  But double clicking won't bring up the controller configuration menu :/  Tried pressing keys at random, that didn't seem to do anything.  Is there some trick to configuring the controls I'm missing here?

On 1964, it's not too much better.  The game opens up its controller config, but doesn't seem to recognize the analog stick. I can't even configure it without messing with stuff, and when I do config it, it doesn't work.

Thank you all for being helpful, I'll let everyone know when I've fixed the stupid thing.

First off, MUPEN does not allow for controller configuration at this point. Hopefully in the next update of the RGR they will change this.

As far as your GameCube controller goes, this probably has something to do with the emulator recognizing the drivers needed to work that analog stick. I have no problems using my dual analog Logitec controller for 20$ you should think about getting one of those.

This is dealing with the RGR so I am going to send it to the Retro Game Room forum.

They have the expertise to help you with any RGR problem.

If Mugen64 doesn't allow you to change controls, why does everything indicate you are supposed to be able to? I think there is more to it than that.

StephanReiken : The issue is an error with the last version of the RGR plugin, so it does not take advantage of the option to change the controls. Sorry, but that's the way it is. There is nothing else to it.

Hopefully in the next update that will be fixed. If you wish to change your control setup, use the 1964 emulator.
