I NEED HELP! So I've been playing n64 emulator for about a month now and I cant set controls when I double click up comes the control scheme. Ill click on one of the button slots to adjust it but it just comes up something like [k_113] and ill press keys but nothing really happens...I guess I'm comfortable with the keyboard controls but I would like a bit more freedom when choosing lay out...but now I tried plugging a X-box 360 USB controller in and the triggers are like x and y its pretty annoying but for games I need precision in I cant use the arrow keys cause they are to limited movement wise. If any body has any help to offer please do. You can contact me here or at KABLAMO47@gmail.com. Thanks!

Is this for the retro game room or for an emulator on your computer?

RequiemHaunt : I think he's referring to the RGR Plugin.

Local Mods : I think this doesn't belong here.

kablamo47 : When the control scheme comes up, it gives you the options of changing any of the buttons used by the emulator.

A good way to figure out what the situation might be:

1. Have you clicked on other "Buttons" to see if you can configure those?

2. Have you pushed a key on your keyboard to see if it lets you configure it there?

3. Is your controller listed under the "Devices" drop down menu?

I don't know about the OP but I have this issue for the plugin given.

I've looked it up and I've tried doing it on Firefox and Internet Explorer, as well as under the games Quest 64 and Pokemon Stadium.

Double Clicking does NOT bring up a menu. Since it's impossible to bring up the emulator menu, you can't change the keyboard or controller settings. This makes it very difficult to play many n64 games.

I don't really like posting this in a thread whose title is badly misspelled.

StephanReiken : There are 2 N64 emulators.... Mupen does not currently allow for controller configuration.

1964 does though. If you want to use a controller and change the setup, use 1964

Also N64 emulators require a decent Video card to run a game smoothly. Also if a game doesn't work as well with one emulator, you can try the other. That is why there are 2. You can also choose different video plugins that may work for you better.

Regardless I'm just posting all of my issues in one thread, because one thread is all I can post. I included this issue.
