This is the first time I think we've ever run this type of thing, so it's in an extremely early stage.

Basically, Vizzed Camp will give you something to do this summer while you have fun in real life as well.

Q - What is Vizzed Camp?
A - It's an online camp for you, the users of Vizzed to have fun.

Q - Well, more specifically, what do we do if we signup?
A - What'll happen, is that every day I'll update the Camp Activities thread with the day's activity. You will do the activity, and get points for it if you do well.

Q - Wait, points? You mean like a competition?
A - Sort of, although it's less serious in nature than you probably think. It's entirely for fun. You will be split up into teams (There are going to be 4 teams) and compete for top honors.

Q - Well, what are the things we will compete in?
A - That varies. One day it could be in posting, one day it could be to do well in a game on Vizzed. One day it could be to simply find the funniest picture.

Q - How long will Vizzed Camp run?
A - I'm shooting to start the Camp in Mid July. Anyone who signs up in this thread will be put on the list, and I'll summon ALL the campers at the beginning of camp to the camp thread. It will end at the end of August when school starts.

Q - What are the prizes?
A - Well there are a few. First of all, you get bragging rights, which are an ultimate prize. Second of all, you will get viz, based on how many people are on your team, and were at all active in the competition. And thirdly, everyone on the winning team will get an exclusive layout that celebrates your Vizzed Camp Championship.

Q - Hot dog! I want in! How do I sign up?
A - You sign up by posting below that you want to sign up.

Q - Wait... there has to be a catch, who can sign up?
A - Anyone can! Except me. As this is not a staff project (yet) I'm the only camp counselor. And as a result, anyone can sign up. Newbies, normal members, elites, locals, globals, hell, even Davideo7 could sign up!

I'll keep a confirmed list of campers below. If you have any questions make them known! Hope to see you all camping this summer!

Beware, once a team has a team captain it cannot be changed unless they go inactive. So it would behoove you to wait on choosing a team captain.

The real test will be how long the activities updates and rules are.

But since it's a special event, I don't think it matters a whole ton

An example would be if I asked you to get to a certain level of a game, say level 4-3 of Super Mario Bros.

You'd take a screenshot, upload it, and post it in thread, and you'd get points if you did it.

Or maybe, I'd ask you to do 20 posts. Anyone who got 20 posts would win points.

Or maybe I'd ask you to find a funny picture. Only the best pictures would get points.

Alright. As long as it's nothing that's super time consuming. 20 posts? Easy. Funny picture? Easier! SMB 3? A bit tougher, but manageable.

Alright so here's what we do, currently unformed team~

We must establish some base rules:
1) this country CAMP TEAM THAT'S OBVIOUSLY NOT TRYING TO OVERTAKE THE OTHER TEAMS follows the Marxist way and is the data concludes that as a result of therefore Dwarf Fortress.
2) you cannot question the first rule or what the hell Dwarf Fortress has to do with it
3) you must be Setzer. If you do not know who Setzer is, then you aren't Setzer.

We must persevere and win, through whatever hardships that we come across, like...

...Yes, there is a way to win. After earning 256 points, the counter resets to zero because the universe is a SNES. Once the counter resets to zero, Kefka spits out the Atma Floating Continent Metroid because SHUT THE HELL UP YOU'RE PULLING THREADS HERE. We then win for some reason.

With the base rules established and a half-assed inspiration speech pumped out, I will now detail my master plan.

My massive army of Setzers will divide into four groups. The names of the groups will be
1) Xrknn Kkntwr (call them "Kkntwr" for ease of pronunciation)
2) Termination Intensive Tackle Squad (TITS)
3) I ran out of wit
4) I ran out of wit2

I will then disband the groups and go to the bathroom.

After a painful 20 minutes or so, I will emerge from the bathroom soaking wet and on fire. This works because the data concludes that as a result of therefore Dwarf Fortress.

I then command the entire army to jump off a cliff. They'll either a) fly or b) plummet to their death. I'm pretty sure it'll be the former, though.

The survivors (which will be everybody, of course) will then undress and do cartwheels into enemy forts. These work like shurikens. As a safety precaution I'll send trained, well armed men behind the Naked Setzer Cartwheel Ninja Force (NASCAR). The purpose of the men following is to mutilate any member of NSCNF NASCAR that doesn't follow orders. The well armed men will then be ordered to retreat once the enemy retaliates; NASCAR will run around in a large circle about 200 times.

I'll just do this and repeat via holding down A until I gain enough levels. I'll do something that earns 256 points (note to self: find something that earns 256 points) and woohoo Gryffindor wins or something.
