==Nuked old review,I recently re-beat the game and my opinion have changed,also the grammar was awful xD=
Harry potter and the chamber of secrets is a interesting little game,I actually hold this game close to my heart for it was one of the first RPGs I played,yet I've only beat it twice,and one was just two days ago,maybe its just me but I really love this game

GRAPHICS-8
The graphics have there ups and downs,the battle with Aragos is actually quite interesting nice to look at,and clever use of sprite/background splicing,similar to the final bosses in FFVI,however most enemies are only decent,and the sprite work is again,hit and miss,I do really like some sprites though,Lockhearts sprite always makes me chuckle,the way he's always smiling and "looking pretty",however the portraits need some work,while I like Ron and Harry's battle portrait(Ron has a <.< face at all times,makes me chuckle),but Dracos,Hermiones and others could use some work,on a side note,the ghost sprites look awful ._.

SOUND-6
I do like the 8-bit "chip tune" version of the Harry potter theme,but thats the only song I really remember,other then that its alright,I really like some of the sound effects though,ESPECIALLY the "enemy die" sound effect,it sounds like a cat screeching while the enemy casually walks away,I don't know why but I love that so much xD

I generally only game in early morning/late night,plus I was recording this for a Lets play,so I played it alot,it kept me hooked,but I'm not sure if that was just for my LP or not,so I can't really judge :/

STORY-5
This may seem odd you think,its based off the book or at least the movie right? well yes,but I hated CoS's plot to begin with,everything was to neat I thought like how the basilisks only attacked students who had some form of reflection,Hermiones was justified but still...anyway it goes like this
Harry lives a miserable house life with his abusive aunt,uncle and cousin,however he turns out to be a wizard and gets to Hogwarts,a school for wizards in western europe,jump foward a year and now he's in second year with two good friends,Ron weasly and Hermione granger,at the start of the story Harry is confronted with a weird rat-pig like elf thingy named Dobby,Dobby warns Harry of a danger at Hogwarts,as well as beats himself up alot,after that Harry is picked up by Ron and his older twin brothers,Fred and George and take him to the Weasly house hold where he meets up with the rest of Rons family,his other older brother Percy,his little sister Ginny and of course his parents,fast forward ALOT of filler(well in the review,you play it in the game)and we see Harry is hearing voices in his head,telling him to "rip,tear,kill" he doesn't know who or what is saying it but its driving him insane,this is also around the time that students start to get "petrified",the first one being Mrs.norris,Mr.Filchs cat and she is found near a carving that roughly says
"The chamber of secrets is open,the enemies of the heir beware"
everyone seems to think Harry did it,a bit further on he is revealed to speak "Parslemouth",the language of the serpents,fast forward a bit and see Hermione also became petrified,however she saw the beast through a mirror and so she lived,and then Ginny,Rons little sister is kidnapped,Ron and Harry decide they have to save her,the decide to get help from Lockheart,the defense of the dark arts teacher,whos also a complete wuss and poser who stole all his exploits,this brings up a bit of plot hole however,they know Lockheart is a wuss,or at least a coward,it was pretty bloody obvious,also why didn't they ask George, Fred or Percy to help,they're actually good wizards,and they would help,it IS there little sister,anyway its revealed that Ginny was controlled to open the Chamber of secrets by Tom riddle(Voldermort) and other stuff

DEPTH-7
Theres some stuff to do other then the main story,theres a dualing club in which you can fight the hardest boss in the game,some extra spells,card collecting(though I just bought all of them) etc

DIFFICULTY-4
The game is pretty easy later on,it starts off fairly hard due to static difficulty and stuff,but you easly get enough EXP to handle it,you can get to level 99 in the first hour(not counting grinding time)kinda easly(and I did)since theirs end-game enemies in a few rooms so yay for that,the big thing that makes this game easy however is there's a trick to win every battle without taking any damage,and that's using the petrify spell,really that's it,sure you have to use it every two turns but still,its funny,I had to use that to beat the Super boss however :/

ENEMY DESIGN-6
There a few interesting enemy types,such as magic armors,but its pretty stock enemies TBH

ENEMY VAREITY-3
Alot of recolors,they're some nice unique enemies like Trolls,but you only fight them in the forest,which you almost never need to go

I don't know,I just love this game so very much,I think its the best RPG of the three(though PoA has great graphics)I guess its just the charm? anyway give it a shot,its a nice little game with just a fun feel to it.
