My favourite sonic character is Tails. Simply because he is Sonic but he can fly and his smart.  Plus foxes are my favourite animals xD

Eggman is pretty cool as well (robotnik) I mean he makes a pretty funny villain but the recent games made him a bit eccentric

Sorry to drive the topic off course, but I kind of wish Sega kept Shadow evil for a few games. Would have been interesting to see how Sonic would have reacted to having a real black hearted counterpart running around, as well as the usual threat from Dr. Eggman.

Anyway, back on topic... That's a difficult question, since I was all about Sonic in my childhood. I'd have to say it remains the blue rodent himself, Sonic.

Everyon'es gonna want to find my house and kill me for saying this, but my favorite Sonic character is Cream, she is underrated and people treat her like she's a psycho murderer, and most of the time as a flying idiotic b****. The reason I like her is that she is a butt-kicking 6 year old girl, with a kind heart and she is the last character that kinda has a classic styled counterpart (kinda). She is a very interesting character. At least she's not another hedgehog, or another flying fox. She can make friends with anyone and I can relate to her a lot. I don't get why people hate on Cream and her fans (Yes, they hate Cream that much) calling her fans pedophiles, furfags, and for the male ones, gay.

It's like saying all Nintendo fanboys are pedophiles and manchildren and all white men are gay. (Spax3 is a stereotypical Cream fan. f*** YOU, SPAX!) 30% of the Sonic fans hated Sonic Advanced 2 just because of this little bunny debuted in that game. (THEY HATE HER THAT MUCH)

Why does everyone even LIKE shadow? I mean, he's an emo hedgehog who only stared as the main character in a rubbish game.
And also, he should be dead, cause the end of Sonic adventure 2?
(And don't even think about saying he lived or the timeline was erased, shadow fans...)
So, now going to explain why I like Tails.
He's a cute little fox with two tails, but he can move pretty badassly. (As in he can fly).

Also, he's really smart. After all, he can do stuff not even an electrician can do.
He's upgraded Sonic's plane many times.
(Yeah, the tornado is Sonic's plane. Deal with it).

It's fun to play as Tails and explore, find places that you've never found before.
Get to those unreachable rings...

Tails is a male, Tails haters. Don't even think about saying that Tails was planned to be Female. The internet itself can't prove it. It's only real if Sega state it themself's. Not even fanbases are too trustworthy...

Have to say Espio, no idea why, was just drawn to him since Heroes, well, maybe it's because he is the ninja-type character, and I was a fan of ninjas...possibly.

Honestly my favorite character is Knuckles because he is more powerful guy but he can glide and go fast and he is red which is my favorite color
