TWEWY is a highly original rpg, gone is both the medieval knights and the futuristic sword warriors (I'm looking at you Cloud) and instead we have a egotistic teenager, gone is also big open fields and country's instead we are roaming the streets of shibuya. So it's an very interesting set-up but does it deliver? That's what I'm gonna find out.

First impressions/music/style
The first thing you'll notice about isn't the gameplay or story, it's the music. The soundtrack is very fitting and indie sounding, with a mix of both slow and fast tunes (and some downright creepy onces). And then there's the style which is spot on, combining some abstract cinematic effects with modern manga style and you have lots of win, The intro pretty much show how both music goes together for a very joyful experience.

Story
I don't want too spoil all too much but I'll say this much: The story starts with a teenager waking up in the middle of shibuya with a mail on his phone telling him to "Get to 104 in 30 minutes or face erasure - "The Reapers"". Oh and the rest of the story rocks.

Gameplay
So here comes the meat of the game, teh battle system. It's quite original and involves controlling your main character with the stylus on the lower screen and the partner character on the upper screen with the D-Pad. Sounds awesome right? And it's! Except that the game doesn't seem to undertsand that and most normal battles are just mashing right or left on the D-Pad whilst using your main character for eevrything else. The only time were you really need to pay attention to your partner is during boss battles, but during these the bosses will attack so much (on both screens) that you'll still only focus on the main character as he is the only one who can do some real damage, so the boss battles are the same mash left or right and use stylus battles as before except with some extra frustration because of how f***ing cheap the bosses are with their attack. Troughout my entire time playing the game i only met two bosses who made good use of the dual screen set up (But those were marvelous and really REALLY fun to play).

Final verdict
The game is highly entertaining but stumbles a little on its own potential, but the story is awesome the characters are fun and the random encounters aren't all to bad. If you can take on some frustrating boss battles then by all means buy it and if need be you could just set the difficulty to easy and put the partner on auto-play but that makes you a wuss.

There's a lot more to this game but if you really need to know then feel free to ask questions, I'm sure either I or Roy (Thanks for telling me about this game) could answer them.

It's good atleast one of us wrote a review. I'm too lazy

Yea this is a really fun and original game.
One thing i really liked that you could buy the OST in the shops in the game. (one sountrack at the time)
Ant thus you could listen to it whenever, and also set a song as the bgsong in your menu.

And I guess that the things you left out you want them to notice themselfs so i won't bring that up.

Except one thing.
Later in the game you can "Mingle" with other twewy players to gain exp fpr your pins (pinpoints).
And after you have mingled you can buy the stuff that the other guy hade equipped at that time and vice versa.
It's a real neat thing. And also a great way to help people who are complete wussies that couldn't get through on their own.
(just kiddin wussies)
Its like trading but you earn money also.

No, I mean it's pathetic you didn't have more people playing with you during said lectures... and still both you and Neo get B's in.

Meh. I didn't really like "Another Day" mode.
After a while of battling, you get used to it, and then when I had to do a lot of Tin Pin, my brain went "Whaaaaaat?"
