This review of "Zelda 3: Goddess of Wisdom" was written by Jack (jzrozzn8706)! I like this hack of "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past", however, there were times when I had to quit because of frustration. The frustration was caused mainly by the events of when I would get stuck in certain situations. As of now, while writing this review, I am stuck in a dungeon. There were times when I had to ask for help and even times when I thought the hack was just messed up. Nevertheless, this game is a good play. I am a huge fan of the graphics, as it brings me back to "Link to the Past". The sound is good and keeps with the original Zelda theme. The only thing that did/does bug me about the sound is that the town music is not consistent (i.e. entering the east cave and going out back into town only to hear the 'outside' music playing). This game is addictive to the point to where I would never give up on it because I am too fond of it, but I probably wouldn't play it again mostly due to the fact that I don't like to play most games more than once (unless I know I missed a lot of things the first time around). The story is good--good job oMEGA and the rest for that! Also, this hack offers a substantial amount to keep the player curious. For instance, I received one item way before I thought I would...and I still have not gotten an item which I thought I would have had long ago. Also, the dungeons are very puzzling, especially for my non-creative brain! On that same note, this game is pretty difficult (to me at least)--especially compared to "Link to the Past".
Overall, this game is a pretty darn good play. I don't say that because I'm a Zelda game fan (I play a lot of other games too), but because it has much to offer. I have to give the guys who made this lots of props for coming up with something so detailed. It also encourages me to want to someday make something like this!
(Also, if it seems like I added any spoilers, please let me know! Thank you!)
