So there's news that a new Super Nintendo game called "Nightmare Busters" is currently in development by a retro developer called " Super Fighter Team" due for release sometime in 2013.

The game is described as a "Run and Gun" title, but early interest is pretty high. I'm excited to see what it's all about. Based on how cool Battle Kid is (released a few years ago by Sivak for the NES) I'm thinking that this game will be pretty cool.

I know that there are hacks and other smaller games that are made for these platforms all the time, but I get excited when someone comes along and puts full production into something and gives it a full release. Pretty cool.

I love this company, I'm familiar with their genesis games they made. I would really love to buy their actual games someday when I have a little more money. It's very cool to see people like them keeping these old systems alive.

I noticed that they no longer sell their 'Beggar Prince' game on their site, and this is exactly why it's a good idea to buy them when they sell them because than they become incredibly rare and sell for insane prices as seen here:

The one notable thing about this release is Super Fighter Team's license to publish a previously-canceled game on a platform that doesn't normally even get much on the homebrew side.

That all being said, lately SNES development has been on the rise, especially with MSU1 being implemented in sd2snes. You guys should probably look for the videos of Road Blaster running on the pack. O:

I really don't get why they would release a SNES game this late in its life, basically because the people here are probably the only people who own a SNES (I don't own one).  Unless they were to make it available on the Nintendo store, I have no idea why they would try this.
