MyMiniCity.com is a site I discovered some time ago, and though completely useless, I can't help but click on it every day for the sites I visit that have it. I think that it would be fun to do here as well.

Here's what happens: we own this tiny island (Vizzed Island) that has practically nothing on it (see the attachment.) Once a day, each person can choose one of the links below to click (clicking the rest will do nothing after that; only one valid click per person per 24 hours.) Whichever link you click adds something specific to the island. As more people click, the population and size of the city grows. While at the very start only population is needed, once the population has reached a certain point, the other choices become available.

* Population    ( http://vizzed.myminicity.com )
* Industry    ( http://vizzed.myminicity.com/ind )
* Transport    ( http://vizzed.myminicity.com/tra )
* Security    ( http://vizzed.myminicity.com/sec )
* Environment    ( http://vizzed.myminicity.com/env )
* Business    ( http://vizzed.myminicity.com/com )

* Population brings someone new into the city. This person automatically gets a job which reduces the number of jobs available.
* Industry builds factories which adds jobs and increases revenue but also increases pollution.
* Transport increases the number of roads being built. They are needed for people to get to work and spread the population further around the island.
* Security increases the police force in order to lower the crime rate.
* Environment builds parks which help reduce pollution and improve the look of the city.
* Business builds shops to create jobs but, like industry, increases the need for more roads to be built.

There are charts that keep track of Unemployment, Transport, Crime Rate, and Pollution. If any of these gets too high, people will move out of the city, so they help you know what choices you should make in the future. Population and Revenue are also tracked which mainly aids in showing how you "rank" against other communities. If you want to see more of your city, there is a directional knob in the bottom corner or you can use your keyboard arrows. You can also zoom out by pressing "1" above the letters on your keyboard (not the one on the keypad.) As the city gets bigger, this comes in handy for looking around.

(Please note that this site is non-referral and non-profit even though the links might kind of look so. No one receives any money nor personal status points for clicking the links. It's just all for fun.)

I would love to see this pinned (not that I expect it to be) if there is enough interest to keep it from dropping to another page too quickly.

Anyway, let's see how large we can get our city to grow!

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
