Hello everyone, I don't know if someone made that before me, but i thought it might be useful to do that ^^

I beat a few days ago Gex64: Enter the Gecko at 100% with all the remote controls in the Retro Game Room and I took some notes on a piece of paper (well two pieces of paper ha ha ha ^^ ) in order to make a little walkthrough of this game. What walkthrough, you're going to say? Just let me explain before what you have to do in Gex64: Enter the Gecko.

In this game, you have to visit some levels with a special theme (sci-fi, horror...) and complete several missions. Each time you complete a mission, you earn a bronze remote control. You have to beat some bonus levels too and some bosses, each time you're victorious, the game grants you a gold remote control. And the last thing is the silver remote controls. You get two silver remote controls in each level, one is a reward if you collect a certain amount of goodies (there are three types of goodies in each level, you have to collect 30 goodies, then 40 and finally 50). You get one extra life once you reach 30, another one when you have 40 and finally the remote control when you have 50. 

And at last, the last silver remote control, the one which represents one of the challenges you'll face in this game, I mean the hidden remote control. The developers have hidden a remote control in each level and... it's a pain in the butt sometimes ^^
Some remote controls gave me some troubles to get because they are not so obvious. 

And now, it's the moment where everybody is saying: "Oh my god, it's a torture, I don't want to play this game because of that", do not worry I have the solution. You don't need a medicine for that, I have my notes and I will reveal you where you will find all the secret remote controls.
Ah, one last thing before starting this walkthrough: USE THIS WALKTHROUGH IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, THANK YOU!!!! ^^


-OUT OF TOON
This one is on a platform, in the first part of the level. When you start, look for the waterfall and climb it up with the rainbows. At the top of the waterfall, to the left you'll see one of the five mushrooms you have to smash in order to complete a mission. Ignore it or smash it (whatever you want ^^ ) and walk this way, you will find a snowy part with some goodies on the ice. Now look to your left, yes this the platform with the remote control. Use the moving block to reach the platform and grab the remote control.

-SMELLRAISER
You can get this one if you do the "Haunted elevator" mission. Plus, you'll see it during the intro of the mission. Reach the third room of this haunted mansion, then before opening the door to the fourth room, to the right, there are a pumpkin, a blood stuff to smash for the second mission and... a bookshelf. Now push this bookshelf, oh it's moving (obviously, we are in a mansion, there are some secrets ha ha ha). You will find some goodies and a lever. This lever activates the haunted elevator. Now, you have to find this elevator. It's not a big deal, go to the room after the toilets (it looks like the plumber didn't do his job there ha ha ha ), reach the two doors and open the one to your left ( yes the huge door ^^ ). Welcome to the haunted elevator which looks like the one in The Haunted Mansion in Disney's World. Open the new door, in front of you the remote control of the mission and, if you remember the cutscene at the beginning of the mission, the remote control is down, then leap of faith to the right  of the bridge and you will find it.

-GECQUES COUSTEAU
Use the turtles and follow the signboards to reach the caves. In the caves, go forward, then to the right, then to the left and go forward. Cross the arch in front of you, you will be in a place with a turtle that you can use to go back easily and a shark. Swim to the surface of the water and look for three lifebuoys. The remote control is in the middle of the circle of lifebuoys.

-MAO TSE TONGUE
This one is hidden somewhere you may miss. Go inside the building to the left, the one with the signboard "Fish". A ninja greets you (ooooooohhh it's too kind, let me give you a tail whip for that ^^ ), the door opens after this battle. The next room is where you will find the remote control. Gong the gong ( I know it's a new expression made by me ha ha ha ) and some stairs will appear. Use those stairs and your jumping skills to reach the orange roof, destroy all the three black doors, some goodies are inside and the remote control too.

-WWW.DOTCOM.COM
At the beginning, take the yellow orb and use the bouncing tile in front of you, climb up and bounce until you reach a portal with an enemy. Use the portal to go ti the next room, kill the other enemy, cross the bridge and destroy the two other enemies. Use the portal, in the next room, take the yellow entity behind a block to the left and use the bouncing tile to go up. Ignore the next yellow orb and carry on, you will reach another yellow orb. Go up with the bouncing tile and look up to your right, you will see the remote control on a platform. Go up and jump on the block to your left and jump from platform to platform until you grab the remote control.

-FRANKENSTEINFELD
Open the door at the beginning and open the red door. Smash the zombie and go on the platform in front of you. Look to your left, you'll see a red and strange form on the wall. Cross this weird thing and you will find the remote control.

-FINE TOONING
This one is hidden behind the castle. Walk as if you wanted to go to the giant tree, but once you reach the place with the giant tv screen, final spot of the mission "storm the castle", to the right you will see a signboard with a boat. Push the button and use the hole to go back where the boat is waiting for you. This boat will lead you to the castle (with a nice music by the way ^^ ), go on the platform and push the button to fall the drawbridge, but DO NOT go inside the castle. Remember the remote control is behind the castle, then go to the left or to the right, don't fall off and your reward will be some goodies and the remote control.

-THE UMPIRE STRIKES OUT
Walk as if you wanted to ride the rocket, which means go the right at the beginning of the level. Once you reach the air tube (the thing with the signboard "AIR" ), go the right and destroy the structure, an UFO will appear. It will lead you to a place with some enemies, some goodies, a portal and the remote control.

-PANGAEA 90210
There are many ways to get this remote control. This is one of those ways: go forward, cross the river of lava using the moving platforms, then carry on until you can climb up a waterfall of lava. Use the platforms to go up then go to the left, some goodies, an enemy and an upgrade are waiting for you. If you have noticed, the wall to the right has a blue texture, use this texture to climb up a bit the volcano and go to the left. CAUTION!!! Magma balls are falling off. Do the same thing and reach the platform with the remote control.

-THIS OLD CAVE
Go where the steam vents are and, before reaching the exit, to your right, you will find the remote control on a platform.

-HONEY I SHRUNK THE GECKO
After you crossed the bridge, take the yellow orb behind a block and use the bouncing tiles to the left when you came to this place. Follow the yellow path, take the yellow orb halfway and activate the yellow bridge after a serie of platforms. Here you'll meet two robots to destroy and a yellow orb. Take the yellow orb and go to the left. Use the yellow tiles to reach the yellow path behind you. This path ends to a place with the remote control and some goodies.

-SAMURAI NIGHT FEVER
This one is a bit tough to get. Go the right at the beginning as if you wanted to complete the mission 1. Once you reach the gong and the extra life on a roof, just after the moving platforms, go to the upper right corner and look down: hang on a second, there's a yellow tile. A leap of faith to reach this yellow path will do the trick. At the end, you will get the remote control as a reward for this risky move ^^ (use the yellow orb to go back to the surface.

-PAIN IN THE ASTEROIDS
You will find this remote control on the asteroid with two power cells. Just use the portal once you climb the wreck with the elevator and use the moving platform to go up. An alien will appear to welcome you and guard the portal. Do whatever you want with the alien but use the portal to reach the asteroid with the goodies, the power cells, some health and the remote control.

-NO WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL
Reach the room with an elevator to activate with two buttons on it (it's the third room ^^ ), use the moving platforms in order to go to the other side and go up. Now, look to the right: some goodies and the remote control. Use the two platforms to go there and grab the remote control.



This is the end of this little walkthrough (ok it's a long walkthrough ^^ ), now you will be able to find on Vizzed Board how to get all the hidden remote controls. Sorry, I will do some videos next time or take some screenshots but it was my first walkthrough, so be kind

Davideo7 : Nice shot, David, well guess I have to fix that soon in this thread and start a new game, yeah I took all the remote controls in my first game and they are now invisible so I can't take them a second time : )

laian : That really is great..awesome..it is one of the first I think....I like it its an original idea...this new cocept is very bright...Its gives a new overview....I think It will really put forward new idea of gaming forward...such that people will get already a taste of the game....they will be playing..

seanne : It's better to say it's probably something new on Vizzed Board, but this walkthrough has to be used in case of emergency or else it's not funny and that ruins the fun we have to find out the remote controls on our own

Yeah...rightly picked up....It should only be used during an Emergency...I do remember in some cases...some people saying that they had to wait, so much and yet could not solve the game or part, and had to search on sites or you tube, This Walk through is wonderful in the sense that we don't really bother to go out if we are really stuck up...I really think that the idea of introducing this concept is bright in that sense(only when ya really stuck up...).Good job !!!
