I would like to be a contestant in Mafia Round IX. If you include me, I will gladly accept, sir.

Since I'm as good as fried for this round, time to sign up for the next.

Oh, and leggy? Can you please include Bystanders this time? At this rate it's not even mafia anymore, it's 'leggy's home-brew.' :/ These special roles are nice, but 2-3 of every one of them and no normal bystanders takes away that special aspect of it.

Yeah, I'm probably going to wait to start round 9 for a while after this round ends.

There is going to be a massive change in policy.

Here are a few ground rules.

1. Inactivity Kills

I'm getting pissed at people getting inactive halfway through the game. If you sign up, you are in it for the long haul. If you go inactive, I'm going to kill you off. I don't care if it makes the game less fun. Inactivity is f***ing boring.

2. Moderating who is even allowed in the game

If you get killed for inactivity, I'm barring you from the next mafia game. That's fair enough right? If you can't be active, I'm not letting you play. That simple.

That's pretty much it. Round 8 has been going on for over a month thanks to inactivity.

Eh, sign me up for whatever the next round is. Include less guns this time.

Announcement regarding Round 9 of Mafia.

Round 9 will not take place until close to a month after the current game ends.

Not only that, but it will DEFINITELY be the first round where I will only be accepting certain people into the game.

Here are the grounds for entry from now on.

1. You must be a trusted member or higher. (or be someone relatively active in the past 30 days)

This isn't anything against newbies, but it's hardly a trend that most newbies were inactive in the current game. Sure people could upvote each other to get around it, but this is just the first level.

2. You must not have died of inactivity in the previous round of mafia.

This is the big one. You may be able to get around the trusted rule, but you can't get around this unless you are active.

3. You must have been here at least 30 days.

This is just another way to get rid of people who are new (especially those with friends on site who get TP instantly)

I'll be adding this to the rules list shortly.

I guess I'll be signing up for Round 9, whenever it finally starts up

Last time things got weird and we had a bunch of inactive noobs I had never even met before.

I think I can take five minutes out of my day to play mafya, as long as it doesn't get to the point where we're making sh** up to keep the game going.
