Just to let you all know that there's 1 week until the development of this begins. I expect it to be finished within 2 months (possibly longer).

Rentacoder, I wouldn't have time to develop this for a very long time and if this was internal, it'd be pushed back by almost a year and a half. And also I don't really have time to learn smartfox or to learn the advance actionscript required for the game

Additionally, the beta release of this game will only contain mario and luigi and with 1 playable level which will be a super mario world level. Development may take a little longer than expected by for sure a beta release should be by April.

The game has been delayed probably by a month. I'm having a heck of a time finding a developer to develop the game. Everyone who seems fully capable of creating the game are charging like US $4000 or so and my budget is only US $2000.

I'm hoping development of this can begin next week and the release date of the game to be May sometime (hopefully a beta release in April).

If I can't find anyone to make the game for an affordable price, than I may make the game offline and than hire someone to give it it's online features. I do not have the knowledge to make it online but I can most likely be able to fully develop the game and get it ready for the online features, though I wouldn't have time to begin working on the game until March I'm assuming...hopefully I can find someone to make the entire game though.
