Overall - 8.5

Jaws on the NES is not that bad.  The movie, however, was very famous back in the 80s (I think it is the 80s).  On the NES, it is completely different.  I think that this game is pretty fun to play and can be a matter of luck.  When I played this I was so surprised to see how the game play would be.  It is not what I expected, but it was okay for me.

Graphics - 9

The graphics are good, but what I think about the map is just weird looking.  Other than that, the rest is very good.  I do not see why the map graphics just look a little bad.  I guess that is how they want it to be.

Sound - 8

The sound is okay.  It is somewhat related to the music for Jaws and the sound effects are just one of the same things in other NES games.

Addictiveness - 7

I would play this a little often, but not too much.  It is not that bad of a game and it is kind of like an adventure game.

Story - 6

I do not think that there is a story in this game.  What you do is just try to get to different islands to get things that can be able to kill Jaws, but some of the time when your sailing, you will bump into something and have to shoot fishes and creatures that are in the water to be able to proceed.  The movie is different from this, but it was an okay movie back in the old days.

Depth - 6

The game did not have a lot of features.  You are a person sailing and when your underwater, you shoot enemies and some of them drop shells, pearls, or whatever and they are points.  That is just about it in the game.  When you are versing jaws, all you do is the same thing, except that you have to shoot at him repeatedly to kill him.  It is impossible without the items needed to kill him.

Difficulty - 5

The game is quite difficult when you are impatient.  I just want to get the things that can kill jaws, but I keep landing into fishes and having to kill them.  It takes up time and you have to be patient to play this game.  The enemies are not that hard.  It is really easy and can be avoided.

Wrap Things Up...

Jaws on the NES was probably popular for the NES console, but it sure is different when playing it at this year.  I recommend trying this game out, it is not like those other NES games that are not fair and impossible to play.  This is a classic and simple game to play.  Also, watch the movie if you have not seen it.  It is not bad.
