Ice Climbers is a great NES game. I remember playing this about a year ago playing it about everyday, till I got bored of it. It is the first Ice Climber series game ever made. Another thing I would do for this game is play it when I have extra time in the morning before I go to school. This game is a lot of fun. It is also a great way to play with friends in 2-player mode.

Graphics - 8

The graphics are very good for an NES game. The levels that were made in the game is not challenging, but does get a little hard in some of the mountains. It has good quality on the enemies and your avatar. The weirdest thing is that if you die, you spin down the mountain in white. That is weird, but okay.

Sound - 8

The sound brings back the past. The way you jump, the way you die, and the way you attack. It is like a mixture of Mario and Pacman. The background sound is just like the theme for Ice Climber. Very good for that.

Addictiveness - 6

Like I said, I would play this everyday, but right now, I do not play it as much as I did in the past. Trying out the hard levels can get you into the game trying to beat it.

Story - N/A

There is no story in this game. All you have to do is get to the top of the mountain and catch the bird that is there. Can be difficulty to do, especially with the controls.

Depth - 5

The game does not have a lot of features. All it has is 2-player mode and just 32 good mountain levels. If only there were secret levels, that would be cool.

Difficulty - 4

The controls are the only thing that I hated in this game. When you jump, you have to get it at the right time because sometimes the Ice Climber will go through the block a little. I am used to it so I know when to jump. What is bad for 2-player mode is that you have to stay close to each other. If one of the players is too low on the screen and the other played gets higher, the other player from the bottom will die, so I recommend trying to do the same pace. Another thing would be trying to get on the platforms that are moving. Some move so fast that you have to jump at the right moment.

Ice Climber is very popular, it is in Super Smash Brothers Melee and Brawl. I think they should make another game for Ice Climbers because they can last a little while longer. I recommend trying this game, I guarantee that you will love it if you like playing arcade games or if you are an Ice Climber fan.

I actually never played Ice Climbers before, but it looks pretty basic, so I might check it out sometime. Looks good at least.

Marcmoney : I like the format of this, however, before the rating-descriptions, could you give an overall personal thought to the game?

I think that would add more professionalism to it.
