Yes I do I have two cats and two meh.... rodents....But for the cats yes I feel very strongly towards them as members of my family. You see I found them abandoned by there own mother in my old outdoor play house.

I consider my pets kind of like a brother or sister and that's how my parents choose to treat them. I grew up with animals my entire life, mainly cats or dogs but my family has taken in other animals like birds, fish and most recently a ferret. I love animals, they honestly brighten my day just seeing them. I pretend to talk to them and play with them every chance I get. When a animal of mine passes on, it's just like losing a family member to me.

I consider my pets as my family because I have sacrificed my money and time to have these pets live at my house and I need to bathe them, feed them, groom them, give them water, train them, and most importantly love them. I hate the people who abuse their pets because animals are living things also just because they are not as good us that doesn't mean we can look down on them.

Yes, I consider my pets as family! I've had pets in my life since I was born. When I was born, I had a dog named Spanky (don't even ask me why she was named that), but she died when I was 10 years old. Yeah, I had her in my life for 10 years! I also had 2 bunnies named Neptune and Joey when I was born (I still have them now!). A year or two before Spanky died, my parents got another dog named Midnight. She was named that because of her black colored fur (she is a black lab/hound mix). She is still here today. Sometime later, I got a cat named Sterling. He was named that because of his gray fur (you know, like the color sterling silver). A year after Spanky died, I got yet ANOTHER dog named Abby (she was a terrier mix). We didn't want Midnight to be the only dog in our house forever. Abby died a few months ago because she was really sick and had to go the hospital. After THAT, we got YET ANOTHER dog named Trooper just a couple months ago. He was the first dog into my life that was actually a dude. I currently have 5 pets: the 2 bunnies I mentioned earlier, Midnight and Trooper (the 2 black labs), and my cat, Sterling. The cat gets along well with the dogs (when they don't try to bug him). That's the end of my story about why pets are like family to me. Feel free to ask any questions.

Of course I considered my pets as family! My two dogs Wyatt and Dakota were like brothers to me! I was depressed when we had to give Wyatt for adoption due to tension between them, but I got to recently be with him because he was diagnosed with cancer. I cried all night when I learned he died. Soon, Dakota might pass soon as well, but I don't ever want that to happen. It will feel like someone stole my heart.
