Before I totally forget about this game that I once started years ago for RPG Maker 95, I figured I'd create a demo for the game for you guys to try out. Keep in mind, I probably will never put any more time into this game (unless I get enough people willing to help out with the game).

It's a big file, has a few cutscenes that I made back when I was still a beginner with Flash.

The only buildings you can go into are the Mall, Arcade, University, Battle Arena and Motel. Only the Mall has actually stuff to do in it though.

There's really not much to this demo, probably 10 - 15 minutes of gameplay. You can always just walk around the town and stuff but there's really nothing to do. This might have some bugs in it so if you see anything that looks out of place, it's because I didn't want to spend any more time on this game.

Click the 'game' file in the folder to play the game

Caphodel (4th floor mall) will turn blue when you talk to them from sideways.

I did underestemate RM95, but still, I belive the more moderner makers have more in them.

For those who never played an RM95 game, to play this, there's a file called "game" inside the folder, that's what you click.

When you find it in umongst all them other files

Just press 'G' on your keyboard and should take you right to it

Why do I get a game over screen at random times? Like I'll be walking and it will say game over for no reason and the game will end.
EDIT: Nevermind, I realized it is because my health goes down as I walk.

Oh, and also when I play pacman, the chipset for Vizzed Ville changes as well.

Yeah like I said, very buggy and will never have the time to debug it

The whole idea to the game was that it'd be like real life, you gotta eat occasionally to stay alive otherwise health goes down. And you gotta sleep (or take energy drinks) otherwise energy goes down.

Also the Day and Night in the game is a bit buggy as well.




A little FYI for everyone:
Most of the buildings have an inside which I made, however, I never linked ended up linking the outsides of the buildings to the insides. I also had made a chart that listed where each person lived. MVash's house is I think the biggest house in the town.

The only problem with this never to be completed demo, is the fact that it will, well, never be completed.

And that I'm not in it, that sucks too.

But other than that, good stuff. It looks like it would have been epic. You know so much more about Rpg95 than me, it's scary lol

Believe me, I really pushed RPG Maker 95 to its very limits, and all the graphics were either custom made by me, or they were ripped from a game. I think I may have had a sprite for you, just didn't ever get the time to add you to the game. This applies to atleast 50 members on the board.

The game was to big of a game, I had to great of expectations, I took on such a massive project back when I was only a part time worker, eventually when my schedule became packed, I just never touched the game ever again until recently I touched it up just enough to release a demo.

It's possible I could make this game in Flash, this way I could get support from multiple people, could use same concept and graphics, and would have more options available to me.

At least I had a character!!

And I can imagine this was a massive project, it looked massive and by the options, it seemed like it was going to be huge.

I loved the menu in the beginning of the game. I wish I could do stuff like that!

Good to see you're remaking it into flash *hopefully*. I like this game, it sucks that it didn't get finished though.

Well I put together sprites for many of the members on this board but I seriously never got far enough to adding many people to the game itself. The demo is seriously only like 3 or so minutes long but your able to explore the town even though it's a bit glitchy. I started to first work on this game about 3 years ago and I did get a sprite for your Neyro but it was a really young boy since you were really young years ago.

Anyway, yeah if this got remade into flash it'd most definitely be an MMORPG

Speaking of which, the cameos will have a purpose in the end, you won't know until you play it, but you're gonna have to play to the end
