Snake's Revenge was released in 1990 and was developed by Ultra Games and published by Konami Entertainment LLC.,.It is a Non-Canonical Entry in the Metal Gear franchise and was not developed by the original crew.Although,Snake's Revenge is an important piece of Metal Gear history as if it weren't for this game,Hideo Kojima( the developer of the original Metal Gear) would not have bumped into one of the Snake's Revenge developers and would not have made the True sequel, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. This is my Snake's Revenge review.

GRAPHICS: Near perfection. Konami know how to make brilliant graphics on the NES....Its just not as good looking or as colorful as let's say,Castlevania III Dracula's Curse. But the game does look nice, just lacking some fluid animations. I'd give the graphics a 9

SOUND:One of the best action soundtracks on NES Better than Metroid.PERIOD. The alert theme is a mainstay in the series and the overall soundtrack is definitely worth a ten. Brilliant.

ADDICTIVENESS: I Don't come back to this game often but I Do play it for at least an hour before having to write a stupid password down! Mostly I Come back to listen to the music though,I'd give this a six.

STORY: Loses some marks for being non-canonical entry in the franchise. It is though like all Metal Gear games very confusing and full off plot twists. Also, who is Colonel Vermont Ca Taffy and do we ever see him...or is he juts Big Boss. I'd give this a seven.

DEPTH: I get lost so often in this game because it is so big and is full of things to do although its not RPG Big,its still a very large cartridge and so I give the Depth a 10.

DIFFICULTY: It is not the usual Metal Gear Sneaking around stuff, its a run N gun type of game and that's why this game is sooooo easy.Overall I'd give this section a 5.

OVERALL: While not a bad game by any means,Snake's Revenge Definitely has its flaws. If it came out on the Wii Shop Channel I'd recommend using 500 Wii points on it. I give Snake's Revenge for the NES A 7/10
