Play as either Goofy Goof or Max Goof, this game lets you play through levels with a friend sharing the same screen. Levels are complete with obstacles and puzzles and you can go through them with a friend. Some levels have you kicking blocks in order to get them on top of switches in which all the switches need to have a block on them before you can advance; take a look at the screenshots. Other levels have you searching for tools that help you get across to another platform or allow you to fight off enemies.

It’s fun working together trying to figure out what to do but sometimes it sucks having to travel all the way back and search for an item that you need in order to advance. After completing each level, you’re given a password that you can use at the main screen to continue off the level you were on.

Something else worth mentioning is when someone gets a game over, they can eventually come back in if the other player is still alive and progresses far enough in the game.

This game was alright for a Disney related game, better than other recent games I played, game was alright, I liked it.

pacman1755 : When did you play it?  A lot of Disney games for the SNES I enjoyed which includes Toy Story, Aladdin, Goof Troop, Lion King, etc.

Davideo7 : Whoops, typo I meant to the Disney Mickey Mouse kind of characters games, sorry, I played quite a few Disney games i enjoyed quite a few of the Disney games, just not that many Mickey Mouse games.

David, you have yet again picked a game to review that happens to be one that owned and played all the time as a kid. Though this was not one of my earlier SNES games, it was one that my bother and I played a lot. Even though it is the same thing every time you play it, it is easy to be in the mood for this one, especially when you have someone to play it with. There is one feature I like about the character picking is that they have their benefits and faults. Goofy is stronger, but slow. Max is fast, but weaker. For enemies that takes max 2 barrels to defeat, Goofy can do it with one shot. But I still always preferred Max over Goofy because in the later levels, some of the exploding block kicking puzzles requires you to be quick. For Goofy, those require perfection. For Max, you have a little room for error. But, yeah. It is worth playing.

rcarter2 : Yeah this is another great coop game, you and your brother must've played a lot of co-op games when you were younger.  Can't wait to have a son, would be fun to play this co-op with him.

Yeah, we were definitely big on the co-op games on the NES and SNES. We did a bit on the Dreamcast, but not as much. Although I think one of our favorite games to play co-op was Pocky and Rocky 2. Though that was mainly because he was never as good at video games, and player 2 is pretty much immortal. When player 2 takes too much damage, he just goes away for about 30 seconds and comes back good as new. That way, we wouldn't lose lives or be sent back in the level because he messed up. If you don't have that one, I would recommend it to play with your kid just so he doesn't have to worry about losing.
