OVERVIEW: Mega Man is a very amazing game and has much to offer if you play! This is just a timeless tale of 2 scientists working together. One becomes evil and makes six robots evil! Rock becomes Mega Man and saves the world from many robots! A classic tale that will never get old (and come true!) to people young and old!
GRAPHICS: Usually, graphics on the NES were terrible! That was up until the rise of the Mega Man series! It has many colors(defying the rules of the NES Sprite System, or NSS) but some not-so-amazing animations, like the Bomb Man stand->throw animation! Nevertheless, the Mega Man graphics were as good as NES graphics can get!
SOUND: Well, the sounds are good here and there, and if you don't like SFX, some Mega Man music is good to! Some games in the Mega Man series have WONDERFUL tunes and amazing SFX, but if you don't like constant constant explosions, turn your volume on your PC to ZERO at Bomb Man's stage!
ADDICTIVENESS: At first, playing the game isn't addicting until you lose! As soon as I lost the game, I kept practicing and practicing until I had it JUST right! Then, the game became alot more fun and addicting! So just play and play!
STORY: As stated in the overview, Light and Wily build robots! Wily goes KOO-KOO and evil and stuff and makes most of them evil! Rock & Roll refuse(hehe, Rock 'n Roll) to be reprogrammed and Rock becomes properly armed for a battle! Or should I say tons of ACTION!
DEPTH: If 9-12 levels aren't enough foryou(it is for me) then you suck! This game has secrets to obtain like the Yasaichi and the Magnet Beam! So, happy Playing!
DIFFICULTY: At first, this seems like an innocent litle baby, but when you get to the Dr.Wily levels, you'll be begging, I MEAN BEGGING for some MERCY! It's like a 5-year old(you) vs world wrestling champ in the ring! No time outs, no brakes between rounds, just fight 'till one is finished!
OVERALL: Overall, this isn't a bad game, and it might have alot to offer to certain people, and if you think you're one of those people, go for it!
