I'd have to know who the individual is to accurately answer the question lol. Since I'm in college, the equivalent is a dean...whoever they are.

I'll talk about both my elementary/middle school principal and my high school one.

Elementary/Middle - A nice, old lady. She was always kind about everything, and she respected your opinions.

High School - He may be a little short, but he's a tough cookie. He always gives some sort of speech at any assembly, and if you get an argument with him, YOU WILL LOSE........cuz he's also a very good lawyer.

We got a new principal just last year. As my friend said and I completely agree with her, 'it is as if the new principal read through the whole front section of the diary setting out the rules' Even though the old principal was a hard core feminist, she at least cared about the things that actually mattered in life, like money, education and how women nowadays can do EVERYTHING *cough cough* I'm not against that, women should aim high now and not be restricted but she just took it too far.
Anyway the new principal, gah, she enforced the rule of wearing badges... What the heck!! Tiny school and house badge on the uniform which everyone change EVERY day which means we have to take the badge off and put it on another dress every morning. sighh. If we don't wear those badges, we get warning slip and 3 warning slips amount to a detention Also we need to tie ribbons in our hair and it has to be bottle green ribbon, not light green or lime green or any other green, ONLY bottle green ribbon. Ok I finished ranting about my school principal. I guess she isn't THAT bad. She should just care more about the academic side of the school not how we represent ourself to the public.

My school principal was basically clueless and is like a hermit.. He'd let the two vice principals handle his work, so they basically got the lion's share. But if this was a thread about vice principals, I'd say that one of them weren't half-bad, friendly and helpful (unlike the principal..)

My principal is literally like a freaking witch; I'm not joking. She has a big long pointy nose with a wart on it. Also she's quite a bit of a... B-word. I got detention because I was sick from school one day, handed in a viable note to her; and she lost it. So I got detention; from her mistake. I don't think the school system quite works like that lady. Luckily I was able to phone my mother and confirm that I was indeed away from school, and got a note from the office to confirm it which I more or less shoved in her witch-like face, before walking away. I don't handle getting in trouble for being responsible already very well.

Bobbynibbles : Bobby, I would agree with you on that point that if you do the crime you should do the time. However my principal would try to go out of his way to pull me from my class to find ways to get me in trouble. He tried to say I was bringing guns and drugs into the school because I left a door open for my friend to run out to his car to grab a notebook for class. I did get in trouble with having cigarettes on school property however he had no reasonable cause besides a video of me going into the gym when there was no passing time and I had nothing else to do in class. Last but not least, my favorite one was where he tried to say that I didn't earn my high school diploma after I sat back at the school everyday for the last two weeks doing every bit of make-up work and missed tests just so I could get a passing grade in all my classes. The cool thing about that, is I succeed in passing all my classes on time with all my work done, and he didn't let me walk with my class, and then didn't give me my degree until a month later when he finally admitted he made a mistake because the school district super-intendant threatened to fire him. So I would say yeah, I did bend the rules back in high school, but my principal went out of his way to make my senior year a nightmare.

My principal was okay, it is the vice principal that every one hates. He's mean, and kinda creepy...

I had 3 different prinicples the first one was great and he was really nice. The second one is really strict and sometimes scary he also talks really fast And the third one I've never really seen him before only a couple of times in assemblies.

I dont like him period and he dosen't kno how 2 do his job at all!

To tell you the truth, I didn't have much of an opinion on my high school principal. He never really DID anything. Except for assemblies, I never even saw the guy and I wouldn't have even known what he looked like. =| I don't even remember what the guy's name was. He was a complete hermit.

I saw the VICE-principals more. I mean, geez, I saw all the COUNSELORS more.

A bit sad, really. =|

I met my Principle and he seemed really nice to me.

Eh, my principal is nice, but I don't see him too often. He likes me, but I don't really like him as much.

Hate them. He thinks that I am just a horrible kid and he always singles me out for crap that I have not done. I just hate him and he needs to loose his job. I am being flat honest.

Hmm, I only had a 'principal' up until the middle of my 7th grade year... after that was juvenile hall and/or court appointed probation school with one teacher for all subjects in a center of a office building while all other rooms of that building were occupied by probation officers... lol, so yeah I wish I had a normal 'principal' for those years, but at least I graduated with an official diploma - well diploma for what it's worth (still official, though not from a normal high school).

I chose the last one because I hated his guts ever since I was a Sophomore.  We had this "recess" thing and if you were passing all your classes, you would be attending it, if you were not then you would have to go to the cafeteria.  I happen to end up being in the cafeteria and some of my friends were there too.  We decided to sit at a table and the teachers would tell us to do school work.  I really had nothing to do cause I finished all my work and I see the principal come up at our table and he told us, "hi, how are you?"  We would say that we are fine and he says, "okay, get something to work on."  I told him that I had nothing to work on and that I do not know why I am in here and he interrupts me saying "GET TO WORK!" really loudly while everyone else (about 200) were talking and me and my friends were just fake working and he said that in my face.  I was about to freaking tell him off and curse at him so much cause I do not like to be yelled at and be told to do something.  I was about to throw a punch at him in the face.  Suddenly, he would walk away and I would tell my friends that I was about to say something rude to him and I called him a motherf^&$@# behind his back.  That made me so mad, I did not even give a crap if he died.  A year later, he would say "Hi" to people in the hallway in the mornings and he would say it to me while I am walking and I just ignored him cause I really do not care about him.  If he is trying to be a harda**, then it is not working because he is a douche.  I tried to make it as appropriate as possible.
