PLEASE VOTE BEFORE POSTING! Thank you!

If you choose Mixed you can say what the mix of game types you chose were and what game you're talking about.

If you choose other specify what game was hard for you. You can choose an RPG if you choose other but I purposfully did not put it as a choice because its too popular of an answer I think.

If you choose any of the other choices you should still specify the game that was hard for you.

I made this poll because one of my favorite challenging games is Hack & Slash! And the game thats hard for most people that I beat was Ninja Gaiden II for Xbox 360.

I love RPGs, but I think they are actually one of the easiest types of games out there. As long as you grind out enough levels, you will always be fine when that boss comes up. Strategies/puzzles on the other hand, you always have a chance to get creamed no matter how much time you have spent on leveling.

i would have to say strategy games because, you cant use the same tactic when playing the same strategy game to beat it there are several ways to reach the end and several ways you can lose, keeping always on edge.

I'd have to go with Strategy games on this one. I mean, some of them are really easy (you are given easy tasks) but some of them are so painstakingly hard you just wanna punch something.

EDIT: due to layout problems.

I'm going to have to say platformers, with hack and slash being somewhat wrapped up in that genre. I just feel that it requires a much more dynamic approach than most other games, make one wrong move and it could be game over. Then again, I'm coming from the days of NES, so I'm probably grading more based on those than the more current systems. I like that more people are getting into gaming since it has become more accessible, but I'm not sure how I feel about so many games having things like dynamic walkthroughs, where the game plays the parts you can't get past for you, or where you can never actually die and have to start over (granted, save points are a godsend, and a necessity in most games these days!).

Puzzle and Strategy games makes use of one's intelligence and reflex to win the game and as you progress it gets even more difficult to win.

I have the most difficulty with first person shooting games because frankly, my aim sucks and sometimes I can't get the controlling to cooperate with me. That's OK though, I enjoy challenges.

Doubtlessly my weakest genre of game is racing/driving games. For some reason, I find it nearly impossible to get into the game properly and control it. Truth be told, I am decent at the twisted metal games but beyond that...I'm doomed.

My most weakest genre of gaming is puzzle, but not strategy. Why? Puzzle is primarily like Bejeweled, and those are what I find the most boring, and when I'm bored, I get discouraged.

No shooter games up there? Not FPS games, but like 2D ones where you control a ship. The ones I find the most challenging are danmaku shooters, where there are literally thousands of bullets on screen and you can't get hit by a single one of them. It's crazy, but insanely fun.
