Hi, just been playing the hell out of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrows tonight and I decided I'd post a little introduction.

First of all, I just wanted to say that I'm really impressed with this website. The best thing about it is that it's got such a good library of games and you can look through them easily and see screenshots of the games. Secondly, the emulator plug-in runs very nicely (I use Firefox) and it's extremely convenient that I can upload my save-files and save-states. I currently use an internet cafe for my gaming and files are wiped when I log out.

I am posting from New Zealand, in Auckland...and I am your average 27 year old loner who's currently waiting for college to re-start. I have a job, but most of my shifts are during the evening, so I usually stay up and use the internet before I head off to sleep before work. I was originally born in the UK and I grew up in parts of Asia.

My interests change and I find it hard to narrow things down. I'll just say my main hobbies aside from an on-off relationship with fitness and judo, include things like reading books and comics, Magic: The Gathering (also on-off), food and cooking, watching superhero cartoons and TV series (esp. Spider-Man), researching on the internet, posting on forums, being deep in thought, etc. I spend a lot of time alone, in my own world. Maybe that's why I like Peter Parker.

As for gaming...I was raised with a Genesis. So I appreciate a lot of those old classics, though I don't have a problem with playing good games on other systems (like the SNES). I have something over 80 original games in storage. I used to have a GBA and a DS. The GBA was left with my sisters in Hong Kong and the DS was stolen one night. :/ I also owned a PSP for some time, but it was sold to me 'hot', so I returned it to the owner (Heard it through the grapevine). Since I lost a lot of games with the DS, I haven't had the heart to buy another console for a while. Of course, I've been a long time user of PCs too. I'm still a regular player of a game called Infantry which is hosted by SOE.

I can't think of too much else. Right now I'm trying to get through Aria of Sorrows and the Spectacular Spiderman Animated Series. It's late in the morning and I'm drinking Sprite Zero. I think i'll just end this with a favourites list.
