To believe that Earth is the only planet in a universe as large as this one that has any life on it is absolutely foolish. Of course there are and have been other civilizations throughout this vast universe. Not too long ago the Curiosity Rover found evidence that there once was water on Mars (http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2012/sep/28/mars-rover-curiosity-evidence-water) so life must have, in some form or another, existed on Mars at one point.

I don't really believe in these kind of Myth but still I'm also a human so thinking it exist come across my mind some times but human... no,all living things are scare of the unknown like we are scared of aliens, maybe they are the same as us that's why they do experiment on human and stuff (not that i know if any of that is true since there no real proof it exist)

Nothing bad has happened to me lately except karma. I do not believe in aliens because they sent like seven rovers to Mars and found no results of "Aliens there" So I do not believe in them. But I do believe somewhere in the Universe some aliens will come attack every planet or runs into everything and destroy the universe. Talking about aliens sure makes me very worried sometimes. Oops! My dad just screamed! (for real) I better check in out to make sure it's not a alien attacking our family and friends. But in a lot of stories in books, There are aliens and might be a clue to what's really going on. Just frightened now.

I think aliens do exist, but not near us.

I think it's a high probability there are aliens out three since there's so many planets but I don't think it will be all Star Trekky with all aliens being bipedal. Out=r configuration won't be the optimal one in all situations so there might be aliens out there that we don't recognize.

Although I doubt that aliens have ever visited Earth I will say that it's probably a high probability that there are other life forms in the Universe. To say that we are the only intelligent life form is probably short sighted.

Although this thought that "aliens" need to be something that we can A. Percieve with our senses or B. or somehow "Humanoid" is probably short sighted as well.

i think that the might exist because of the climate in the planets and stuff so the earth is normal temperature but then the other planets are really hot or really cold so it would depend how the aliens adapt and stuff

Absolutely aliens should exist I mean when you do the math of the chances I think that the reason we haven't seen any is because one they don't want to see us or two the technology doesn't exist for us to travel far enough to meet.

Okay think of it this way even if theres no proof, people will still believe and example is religion.

My views on this is... yes, aliens do exist.

I could not fathom nor accept that all the life in the universe is on one planet. Somewhere out there are planets that sustain life.

 Maybe they are not as advanced as we are or have as intelligent beings, such as lowly life forms of germs and bacteria... or maybe there are creatures who are vastly are superiors in intelligence and technology that we will never meet! I just know that there has to be something more to the universe than just our little planet and what it witnesses.

Now, whether we will ever come into contact with aliens is another question. I have my doubts on alien abductions and spooky things in the sky. More than likely, it is people's imaginations gone wild or just wanting attention Same goes for crop circles. The Roswell alien crash I could believe to be aliens, but I am not fully into it. Maybe it was a long dead alien in a ship that just happened to crash into the earth or maybe it was a satellite falling down.

I also suppose it is possible they may have tried to make contact with us, or we inexplicably contacted them with one of our many signals beaming about, but the chances that our species will each meet is highly unlikely.

there must be some other form of life somewhere...wheather its human or animal. So personally i do believe that aliens exist somewhere...

As to which one I'd rather prefer, I honestly don't know. Both have major flaws that make either one a bad result. Specifically:

If we're Alone: When humanity is over, it's over. When existence in its whole is over, it's pretty much over, unless we can go over the same evolutionary process, which is near impossible, due to the different possibilities that could go on through it. But that aside, it'd be pretty much over, and thinking that everything can just end like that is pretty scary to imagine.

If we're NOT Alone: If we meet the other existence, and either side becomes hostile (And looking through history, we would attack first), then it could spell out the ending of humanity itself, if they're as/more advanced than us, instead of existence in its entirety. While not as scary of a thought, it's still pretty fearful to think that we could end just like that, Nya~.

Time will have to just dish out whatever it has in store for life.

I myself do not believe aliens are real. I have not had any experiences that would suggest otherwise. I don't however, think it's crazy for others to think so.

If we are alone, what a terrible waste of space it is!

Seriously, just like answering about the existence of a god, there can only be one answer : I don't know. I've never seen an alien, but it doesn't mean they don't exist.
