Personally i like Assassins Creed. I like Prince of Persia because of the cooler ways he defies gravity, but Assassins Creed has a more in-depth story.

I haven't played Prince of Persia...I do own Assassins Creed for PS3 which I'm currently in the process of beating...hopefully. I like the graphics and concept of Assassins Creed. Fun game.

Assassin's Creed for sure! It has a very fluid fighting system (it might take a while though) and the story line is much more interesting in my opinion. I also think that the depiction of ancient Jerusalem is much more realistic compared PoP's depiction of Persia (if that's where it takes place). Assassin's Creed is also open-world, where as Prince of Persia is not if I recall correctly.

Sephitard9001 : Well, while the others aren't, 2008's PoP reboot is open world. I'm currently working to get all 1001 light seeds so I can unlock the concept outfits :3.

Having never played AC, I guess I'm a bit biased, but I'm going with Prince of Persia here, for its longer history with many great games, the fun, for pioneering the fun, fluid acrobatics seen in AC, and for the Sands of Time trilogy just being awesome.
Well, Warrior Within wasn't as good, but otherwise :/.

Money's on Assassins's Creed. Prince of Persia's stories usually devolve into "save the female character from moment of death" while the Assassin's Creed story spans centuries, and really makes us question what we know about life. That's what I enjoy, a game that treats us like we're intelligent beings.

To close with a game quote: "Nothing is true. Everything is permitted." (Altiar, Assassin's Creed)

bigNATE : Prince of Persia probably does have a faster way of mobility (extreme acrobatics from what I've seen in Sands of Time), but it really just boils down to storyline for me. But that's only because the games are pretty similar. There's just something to be said about uncovering huge conspiracies, even if they are fictional, they're about real events.
