I had this for N64 a long time ago, well I played it a long time ago I still own it. Anyways done some research and can't find a remake for Wii. Wondering if one is already out there or if one is being made. Anyone got any information on this they could share would be great.

This is info I haven't confirmed yet, but I hear that they are making a remake of Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 3DS. (That's the brand new DS)

Zelda ocarina of time is a awesome game. i play it every day because i like it. i also beat it 100 times in a row i am working on my 101. i will never sell it because its probably too expensive to get online or in the stores. so i recommended to people not to sale it. the part i couldn't figure to is how to beat gandorfe at the end both times when your in the castle and when the castle is destroyed.

DS? weird it was a system game not a hand held game, that is very strange that would remake but for a different format. Probably wrong info, because Nintendo is very picky about that sort of thing and lets be honest lazy. They haven't been really great about originality since the N64.

A guy named Zeth made TP textures for OoT and MM, I use them to play The Legend of Zelda with cool high resolution textures.

Comes out good enough on my plasma, thats not a problem, I just look for remakes for all kinds of games. I am an original kind of guy. Except when it comes to modern masterpieces like SC2 and D3.

They remade Super Mario 64 and Rayman 2: The Great Escape on the DS. The DS IS capable of handling the graphics of those kinds of games, and the 3DS will have enough memory. So to say that it won't be remade on the 3DS just because it was a console game is folly. EVERY remake I have ever owned that was originally on a console was remade on a handheld. If I were you, I would at least look into it instead of simply dismissing it as impossible; my source, although technically hearsay, is almost never wrong.

lol every remake that nintedo comes out with is platform to platform with 1-2 exceptions. Let me give you list that I can type in under 15 seconds

Trust me I have friends that game 18 hours a day and no more about games then the creators do, well mostly computer but having 212 hours logged time on one of his games on DS is pretty impressive as well. Having a senior operating job with blizzard helps as well. In his words, "There are exceptions, but 98% of the time Title games will always be remade for their original corresponding platforms." I'll take his graduate degree over your friends word. Nothing personal, just the facts.

BaldNinja : You are getting the term "Remake" mixed up with the term "Sequel".

A game that has a similar but different game following it, such as Super Mario Galaxy 2 coming out after Super Mario Galaxy.

A remake is an exact copy of a game that has been made before on an older console that is made for a newer system.

There is a massive number of Mario game remakes as well, most of which are on the GBA.

Every single game you included on your list have sequels, not remakes. They are not the same.

That, and the reason they didn't make a Wii remake is because
Master Quest already exists on the GC. One console remake and one handheld remake is one thing, but two console remakes, especially with the second on a system that can still play games on the first, would have been a bad move.

They are remaking it for Nintendo's new 3DS. I'm not sure if they're adding any new side quests or anything, but I bet it's going to be pretty cool!

The one for the 3DS comes out June 2nd. there is one for wii using your wii points you can download it on the wii's virtal consol.

I heard also that the 3Ds was remaking this... and if thats the case, they have just secured me for one those 3DS's and a copy of Zelda.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D on the 3DS will be coming soon. I can't wait to get it, I am so excited about it, but I have to get the console first.

Ocarina of Time was my favorite out of them all, provided enough of a challenge at the time I played it, and it's now one of my all time favorite games. Nintendo has already remade it a few times, they remade it for Gamecube, but now for DS3???? Really? Ok when i think of Hand Held Nintendo games especially legend of zelda i think half done, kinda lazy, and just never had an interest. In fact they probably just remake zelda games of old on hand held just for the hype of the title, nevermind the playability. Link to the Past i think was much better on the console then hand held, and I know Ocarina of Time will be much better on console. I'm not sure I want to know what they'll make you use the stylis for (yeah it's spelt wrong oh well) but it'll probably something that will make the game get a bad rep. No offense I just saw the stylus as a waste of time; it made a hand held game remind me of a pda to be honest (and i mean the kinda you'd use a stylus for, not something you'd do in the park :p) Interesting to see what comes of this but I think that it will always be much better on Console

Deadman9001 : On the contrary, the new 3DS game should greatly improve the game's reputation. For one thing, the fact that it's a remake on the 3DS means you can use the circle pad as you would a regular analog stick. Plus, the graphics will be in eye-popping 3D and who can turn that down? (you can turn the 3D off if you prefer)

Plus, they added in a bunch of gameplay elements that weren't in the original. For instance, there is a new help system for people that get stuck during any part of the game. They can get hints on what to do next, but the game won't do it all for them. And they included the regular and Master Quest versions on the same game, so even if you've already beat it, there's another extra challenge in story for you. The inventory and hearts are on the bottom screen, leaving the top screen to be less cluttered. So as you can see, porting the game to the 3DS was actually a fantastic idea on Nintendo's part.

Portable Ocarina of Time; in 3D even. Who can't complain? Although, Nintendo would -easily- become my favorite gaming company if they remade Majora's Mask too. If they don't, I am going to whack every member of Nintendo with a broad stick until they do.

They are making a remake of it on the 3DS.  It is very fun, I guarantee that you will like it if you love playing Zelda games.
