The Death Star makes things REALLY go boom, so I'm going with that.

Dude, Star Forge? Massive, Dark-Side-fueled superstation that makes things at amazing speed and efficiency? Only destroyed because the two most powerful Jedi of the era weakened its interior defenses? Heck yeah!

Lightsaber... hello? ITS A GLOWING SWORD THAT CUTS THROUGH EVERYTHING. HOW CAN YOU NOT WANT ONE?!?!?!

Plus it can be purple. Can the Star Forge or Death Star turn purple? No. They can't.

The classic lightsaber is good, but I liked Mace Windu's purple saber.

Who needs a lightsaber when you have the force??? Even Obi-Wan knows this.

I also thought the lighting trick the emperor did was cool What if your lightsaber runs out of batteries??? Then your screwed that is why I choose the force or the emperors lightning.

I'm gonna switches things up right now and go with the Borg's nano-injections from Star Trek. Death Stars, light sabers and huge lasers are awesome, but when all you need is a single Borg drone to inject someone with "nanites" and turn him/her into another Borg, with the same ability to inject that stuff into others, and eventually cascade into an exponentially growing number of converted human to Borg beings, nobody would know it was going on until it was too late and there were a massive number of them. That would throw any empire into chaos and possibly destroy it. Getting an army, even consisting of clones, would prove very difficult to combat because every increase in Borg numbers mean less and less numbers of the resisting force.

Borg nanites FTW.

i would say a lightsaber but starwars and all that crap is so gay and boring i dont get what is cool about it for my opinion

From Star Trek, it's the Vulcan Nerve Pinch. In a sticky situation without a phaser? No problem! Instantly take out your enemy with a simple grab between the neck and shoulder!

The force is a really good and useful skill.The Light sabers are awesome as well.

The double blade lightsaber,i always went with that in swk even though its harder to use,looked nice in silver.

Admitedly it dosent do much compared to the deathstar, I doubt you can deflect that laser blast,they probably should have tried though =p

The Sun Crusher from one of the Star Wars series. I think by Timothy Zahn. It was a tiny, near indestructible ship that could rip apart stars, effectively wiping out entire star systems in minutes. What the Death Star wanted to be when it grew up.

Its massive destructive potential leads the Federation to consider it a biogenic weapon.

I love Star Wars and all... but yeah, screw the lightsaber. Thalaron radiation is way more effective than an energy sword, or even the Death Star.

Now, if we are talking coolest weapon, I think I would have to go with the Klingon Bat'leth. If you ever watch the special features on the dvds of Star Trek: The Next Generation you learn a lot about it, how they came up with it, and it's cannon lore and proper fighting styles... it's a really awesome weapon.



 

I would have to say that it is the Death Star hands down for me. The thing freaking kills planets with a simple zap from its ray. I love that thing, though it seems to easy to destroy.
