Nintendo Co., Ltd. (任天堂株式会社, Nintendō Kabushiki gaisha?) is a multinational corporation located in Kyoto, Japan. Founded on September 23, 1889[2] by Fusajiro Yamauchi, it produced handmade hanafuda cards.[6] By 1963, the company had tried several small niche businesses, such as a cab company and a love hotel.[7]

Nintendo developed into a video game company, becoming one of the most influential in the industry and Japan's third most valuable listed company, with a market value of over US$85 billion.[8] Besides video games, Nintendo is also the majority owner of the Major League Baseball team the Seattle Mariners.[9]

According to Nintendo's Touch! Generations website, the name Nintendo translated from Japanese to English means "Leave luck to Heaven".[10] As of October 18, 2010, Nintendo has sold over 565 million hardware units and 3.4 billion software units.
In 1947, Sekiryo established the company Marufuku Company, Ltd., to distribute the Hanafuda cards, as well as several other brands of cards that had been introduced by Nintendo. Sekiryo Yamauchi also had only daughters, so again his son-in-law (Shikanojo Inaba, renamed Shikanojo Yamauchi) was adopted into the family. Shikanojo never became president because he left his family. Subsequently, his son Hiroshi was brought up by his grandparents. Hiroshi later took over the company instead of his father.

The Nintendo Wii can do what the previous nintendo systems can do and much more so the Wii is very cool and fun to play.

I was considering saying Wii, but Nintendo 64 is just so great. It has all of the best games that also set the stage for all of the current good games. It also has the last of the good games in some series. Banjo Kazooie games nowadays are just boring. They can't compete with the two from N64.

The Wii is a system that I love, but the first thing that I thought of is the N64, it is awesome to play, the games are so fun.

The SNES because my favorite game Earthbound is on that console and I've had a lot of good times on that console.

The n64 it's games were classics

My favorite is SNES because of all the good games on it. I have fond memories of this system even though I grew up with Sega systems.

I'd say the wii. I love the motion you use on it. I also love the games.

I'm going to go with Wii, because I can play all my favorite gamescube games, and a select few N64 games that were a lot of fun. Being able to play retro games using VirtualConsole is a plus.

I probably spent more hours on the Gamecube playing games like The WindWaker, Starfox, and pokemon colosseum and never really use to play the N64 that much i was more of a Playstation kind of guy.

I would say the N64 because there's just so much nostalgia on that. I never get tired of playing the games on there. The Gamecube is a close second because it has such an extensive library and most of the first party games are great.

I'd say N64 because I grew up with it, and I still play on it! But, comparatively, I'd choose DSi XL (or 3DS) because as of recently, my primary gaming console is the DS.

It's a really hard choice between Wii,Nintendo64,Nintendo GameCube and the Nintendo DS.So I choose the Nintendo Wii.

As much as I love the Wii, it isn't the best imo. The N64 is really a true classic. It has so many memerable games on its console, so I can't pass it up.

I have to say DS, DS Lite, DSi.

I like the snes it has almost all of my favorite games on it like super Mario world, captain commando and donkey Kong country
