A good amount of fans say that this is where the series started going down the toilet. I completely disagree. I had loads of fun with this game. I find it to be the hardest in the series. Just about every level is filled with death traps of spikes or enemies that can easily knock you into either spikes or a bottomless pit. This is the first game of the series with a major plot twist, and I was shocked as many fans were at the time. The music may seem a little bland at first, but I've really enjoyed. Especially the castle themes. Great game, try it!

Yeah, I myself have been playing this classic series like, for the first time ever! Vizzed rocks like MegaMan, dude. ^o^ (I just had to add that) I'm playing the series through in order, like you would surmise (maybe), and using minimal save states except for bookmarks and maybe if the final stages get too tough.

Fine, fine, I'll get to the point. I'm on Mega Man 4 now, and will tackle the final stages next time, unless I decide to start over again. ^v^ It's so fun! Guess I love good challenges.
