The server hiccups all the time for me. It's really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY starting to piss me off. (That's an extra "really" for every time the server has gone down while I'm trying to make this post.)

Maybe the stress of trying to make me, Prop and Apoc Local Mods without actually adding us to the Vizzed staff was too much for the poor server to handle, and it has now degenerated into babbling incoherent madness?

If this keeps up, we might have to find a new server. What horrible timing...

That is strange. I haven't noticed any connection problems. I guess it has already been fixed?

*sigh...* I mostly came on to inform you guys that this week is being rather... horrible. What with all of the daily tests, meaningless homework, and of course... chaos with the Senior Project. I'll probably be able to check up no more than once a day. The bright side to all of this? The week is half-way over.

Well, the thread has now officially been moved to the "private" staff forum! Congrats, everyone. And a big Godzilla-sized thanks to Davideo7 for letting us have this forum at all. WIthout him, we wouldn't survive.

OK, now that we've got the forum stuff taken care of, let's get back on topic and check our progress:

4. Thread for everything we couldn't fit on the Downloads page: Done.

5. FAQ Thread: Not needed 'til later.

Looks like we are on track. I talked to Claado Shou for a few minutes tonight, and he says Symphonic likely won't launch ON Thanksgiving, but very soon after. It will release this month, we know that. I'm not telling Nathan that though. I'll call him in the morning and let him know we have 1 week to finalize.

Oh, and one more task I need to take care of:

8. Get Nathan to convert all versions of the .DOC petitions to .PDF and .HTML.

Or does anyone else here know how to do that? The less Nathan has to do, the better.

I can convert the .DOCs to .HTMLs. It's actually quite easy -- open up the documents in Microsoft Word and select "Save As Web Page" from the File menu in the upper-left corner. Tah-dah!

Getting the files into HTML format is probably most important, since anybody who is able to view the Internet can view HTML files, making it the most accessible of the three offered formats.

Well, go ahead and do that with the DOC to HTML if you wish, but make sure it converts to printing on one page when you go to Print Preview on the HTML version.

Jake, don't forget about the other problems with the site we've listed. There's Nate's name, changing "Privacy Policy" to "Legal" and whatever else we needed done. I don't know if those would be included in the "dynamic-site problems" or not, and I'd rather we not forget them.

We also still need to darken the text on the "Home" page of the site, and change that text in the Downloads page, and add information about the forums to the News page...

And we need to put DAVID's name on the About page, not Nate's, Prop.

Jake, I sent you the HTML versions of the petitions. I hope you've got WinRAR installed on your computer, 'cause you'll need it...

All the problems you BOTH mentioned have been covered. And yeah, that was all covered in the last one about dynamic-site problems. Haven't forgotten a one of those.

Got the WinRARs and the HTML versions are now up. I just need to link to them in the Downloads thread. Now we need to get our PDF versions up and we'll be basically done.

Let's see, who's in charge of getting artists to make those wallpapers and sigs? How's that going?

Yesterday, I sent emails about it to the three main art guys at CTRP -- Alezunde, BrownMan, and Moogle Man. They haven't replied back yet, so I'm gonna give them a couple more days before I try again.

In the meantime, Jake, you should make a link to the Petition logo in the Extra Downloads thread and call it a sig.

The reason I asked before about the text boxes on the Contacts page is because the page doesn't explain anything to you. Perhaps if the text at the top of the page that says "Our Contacts" was changed to a description of what the comment submission thing was for, it would be clearer. *shrug*
