I like the hard cover text books, because you can actually feel them and open them easily, unlike Electronic Text Books which are hard to navigate, but Electronic Text Books are easy because it means you have one less text book to lug around...

I honestly prefer a tangible book in my hands, mostly because its easy more me, and a bit of a drag to use an electronic device. Its seems less entertaining because it is just text, but when holding a book its like you have more a connection to what your reading, a gateway into the world of imagination...

I would have to say that I prefer hard cover textbooks. While I am all for using electronic textbooks like online course work, it can be a problem if you lose access to electricity --something that happened to me not long ago. With a hard cover textbook, I can carry that thing wherever I need to an know I will not lose it easily --unless I poorly manage how I keep my things.

I don't read much, but I'd prefer both, as I've had experience of both.

I like having the actual textbook in front of me. I've had the electronic ones die on me before. =| Not fun.

I think that electronic text-books would be good due to the fact that the information in them could be updated at any time, for history books, etc.
