My dog is able to sit up using his hind legs. Dont know if that is a quirk, but I have not seen most dogs do it.

Here is an example, and no this is not what my dog looks like.

My dog likes to fetch, which would seem normal, except he likes to fetch...footballs. He can fit any size football in his mouth and carry it around. And he doesn't fumble! He likes Nerfs, leather ones, even fully sized official NFL ones! He's really nice too. So nice, my dad and I can be throwing around the football, and if one of us drops it or misthrows, he'll get it for us.

My dog is deathly afraid of my cat. The cat is a bombay, and the dog is a mutt. Every time you bring the dog in the cat will arch her back, fluff her tail and walk towards the dog. Sometimes if the dog is not fast enough the cat will claw her. The dog is terrified of the cat and will even hide behind me to get away from the cat. Now, this dog is about the size of German Shepard, and the cat is a normal sized cat. So you have this big huge woofy dog scared stiff of an itty bitty kitty. It's the funniest thing you have seen in your life.

fdragon010 : Reminds me a bit of my dog. He isn't afraid of either of my cats(we recently picked up a tiny kitten we found outside) but if one of them wants to cuddle him, he immediately gets down from where he's at & goes to sleep elsewhere. All they want to do is cuddle him which is unusual in itself for cats. I can understand the new baby wanting to cuddle but the older cat likes to as well.

Something with my cat is that he gets along with every creature smaller than him, but attacks any creature but humans that's bigger than him.

His claws shed, too.

I don't have my dog Coffee anymore, cause we moved and I had to give her to my sister, but whenever I would crank the speakers and listen to some music, she would always howl to the music and run around in circles, good times...good times.

Best Keep your concience as clean as you can, or charma will come with a blade in it's hand. It will strike all those who seek to gain without giving, and spare all of those who are weak and forgiving.

My older cat has become lazy. He's perfectly capable of getting around on his own but he wants me to carry him everywhere. What's even worse is I actually carry him. :/

My dog should wear a sign: "WILL WORK FOR FOOD."

You can barely convince Giggles to do a trick without providing her some morsel.

This may sound disgusting but my dog has a weird quirk of biting her front legs... like basically down to the bone! She chews her fur and skin off and consistently has open wounds that bleed everywhere. She is gross and we've tried many different vet "remedies" but nothing seems to work. This has been going on for 10yrs since she has been a puppy.

Ammo007 : I thought my dog biting his nails was bad. I hope there's nothing seriously wrong with her. Have you tried a dog psychiatrist? It may be a mental/emotional problem or something.

Surgiac : We haven't tried a pet psychiatrist - hadn't really looked in to something like that. I definitely think it is a mental problem or something dramatic must have happened when she was a puppy right before we got her. I'll look in to it -thanks!

If anyone read MrPurple's post earlier about a dog named Seamus and a Blood-Red Corn called Cissy, they're my pets haha! Well, the dog is my mum's and his quirks and sickness have been listed xD Cissy's quirks.. Well her licks to people's noses is when you go to her like "kiss" and she goes up and licks your nose. Really cute . She also has a little adventure streak in her and recently escaped and ending up in the neighbour's bathroom coiled around the top of their mop bucket. Since her little bid for freedom, she seems to have become slightly more wild but she knew when to sit still on my hand if I was typing something, which I suppose is another of her little quirks - she knows when to stay still haha! She also has a habit of showing off in front of the camera whether proving how strong she is inside a plastic box or getting as close to the camera lens as she can xD She does like to pose for pictures as well!

My cat used to climb up this textured wall we had and then just hang up near the ceiling, since she didn't know how to get down... but now all she does is insist on being watched while she eats. She just sits there and won't stop yelling until someone goes and watches her eat. My sisters think she's crazy, but I know she just needs someone to be watching her back so she can eat in peace.

My sister's cat is the weird one. I think she's a paranoid schizophrenic. She'll be super friendly one moment, then the next she just starts staring off into space for a few minutes before she freaks out. When we first got her from the shelter, these freak-outs caused many a bloody scratch on my sisters' faces. I swear that the animal has hallucinations.

My bird likes taking things from the syll in my room and throwing them on the floor, so I can't put any light things there or else he throws it down(picks it up and drops is or simply pushes them down)
He also likes to eat peapole food. His favourite human food is chips, popcorn and cheese. Once we were eating chicken and he came and had a few bites and liked it....funny he should like to eat a part of his kin........

Our cat likes being covered up. She will either bury herself under blankets (laundry, chairs...) or she will sit in front of her favorite chair and blanket until someone lifts up the blanket for her to get under.

Ooooh, this is a hard one. My cat has so many quirks...

She's methodical. If she wants us to wake up, she goes through a particular set of steps to achieve that. While she's at it, she keeps up a rhythm. Three bats at the lampshade, 10 second pause. Three bats at the lampshade, 10 second pause. That not working? Claw her hair for 2 beats, then wait for 10. And so on. The one that always works is her biting my cheek. That's a rude awakening.

PS, she can also pull down the comforter to get to me.

Myother dog has a weird quirk....he's the older one of the too and every time I look for him, he's in the living room looking at himself in the mirror...literally. It's quite hilarious actually...
