I'll admit that the first one I ever played was X-2 back when it first came out. =| I saw it at the store and thought it looked cool, so I bought it. Beat it in a few months. Nice game, but I liked X more.

I've played every final fantasy by now, but it all started with Final Fantasy X.

I only got into the series because my best friend's sister was playing it at their house and we decided to watch her play it.

I was amazed at it and thought his sister was pretty good at it.

Then I got the game later, and beat the bosses she and my best friend weren't able to beat. Needless to say I felt pretty proud.

The first Final Fantasy I ever played was FFVII.  When I first played it, I didn't fully understand what was going on.  I saw my brother play it and thought that it was awesome!  A few years after that, I played it and got hooked.  I love that one and it is probably the favorite out of the FF series.
