For those who play Pokemon Card Game, what's your strategy?
For mine, I usually play with Eevee's evolutions. I usually pick 5 of his evolutions, which is usually Umbreon (my favorite, especially since you can build up his attack with the more dark energies he has), Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon and Espeon. Right there I've got a huge variety of elements and it's not hard to maintain because the specific cards I have mostly colorless energies for the attacks. Than I've a huge variety of Eevees (I usually have at least 6 in my deck), that all do different things and have different useful Pokepowers and attacks. Like one of them lets me search for a few evolutions of Eevee in my deck, incredibly handy. Besides the Eevee's, I also usually have a really strong Pokemon in my deck that takes a while to build some, usually a Level X Charizard (though the other half of the time I go with a colorless strong Pokemon). This works out nice because the Eevee's are able to quickly and easily evolve so I can let the Charmander work his way up to Charizard.
I've had other strategies in the past but none have worked as well as the above. One strategy I tried out a few times really sucked (or maybe I just didn't use the proper energies or trainers), but I had the Charizard, Blastoise and Venausar (and of course their stage 1 & 2 pokemon) and a few Pikachus & Riachus. It was fun because it was like I was playing as Ash but the strategy just didn't work out.
