The reason it never became commercially successful in America (it was super successful in Japan), was because Namco didn't advertise it too much, and many gamers took one look at it and immediately claimed that it was a rip-off of Sonic The Hedgehog from the appearance of Klonoa himself. You can play some of the GBA versions in the Retro Game Room, but the best versions are the two originals for the PS1 and PS2. Despite the lack of popularity, though, I think it's a great game you should try out. My profile pic is a picture of him.

The first one is even more rare, selling for about $150. Your best bet is the Wii Remake which sells for $30. Just do yourself a favor. If you get/try the Wii remake, go to options and change the language from English to "Phantomile." Phantomile is a made up language for the game, and that uses the original voice actors from the PS1 version. The English dub is simply awful...
