Suffering from OCD regarding Earthbound I have to clairfy this tidbit.

Giygas himself is not an unborn baby, there is heavy symbolism implying that his mental state is that of an unborn baby, and the device that Giygas is enclosed in at the end of the game is womblike. Also there is an image of an unborn baby during one of Giygas' forms which I've only been able to see the last couple of playthroughs of the game that I have. It is there though, and I believe it is there on purpose. I don't see how having an unborn baby image in your game by mistake is possible, but that's another story.

The deal surronding Itoi's trauma is that he THOUGHT he walked into a movie as a child that contained a rape scene, which he has since admitted was him remembering the incident incorrectly. The name of the Movie is "The Military Policeman and the Dismembered Beauty". Here's a link to the scene in question if anyone here is interested.

Still kind of heavy for a child to try and process correctly. Anyways, I do believe however, that Giygas' ramblings when you fight him, are supposed to interpreted as what one may think during rape, or possibly normal consenting intercourse, even maybe branching into losing virginity. This paragraph is hearsay on my part and should be taken with a grain of salt. I do believe this is more or less how this portion of the game is meant to be interpreted however.

Did you know that you can take the 32x add-on for the Sega Genesis and set it inside of the Genesis, then stack another 32x onto the 32x, making a tower. XD

There were some good 32X games though, I think people are to quick to judge the system. Here are some pretty good games for the 32x:
Knuckles' Chaotix
Doom (probably the best version)
Virtua Fighter
Mortal Kombat 2
Space Harrier
few others



Fact: Ryo Hazuki from Shenmue is based on Akira Yuki from Virtua Fighter.

Yeah those few were good. I don't know if the 32x still works, all I know is that it will fit because the converter is the same size as the cartrige for both the Genesis and the 32x.
If the game still works that would be awesome.

Fact: The Panasonic 3DO controllers each had 1 controller port on the controller itself allowing you to connect unlimited amount of controllers to your 3DO system. The game with the biggest number of players for the system was Family Fued allowing for 10 players. (I know this because I own a 3DO).

This fact is not really fun, but the Atari 5200 was supposed to take the place of the Atari 2600 and do better, but the controllers made for the 5200 were dis-functional, even other controllers made to replace the original did not function either. Also one of the controllers that was made was actually bigger then the NES system.

Has anyone heard of the Nintendo64DD?(DD stands for Disk Drive) Look at the bottom of your N64, notice that there is a slot there. You plug it in the bottom of the 64. Its a console that takes flat cartridges. It didn't get to the US since it didn't do well in Japan; it only had 7 games such as Sim City 64 and different versions of Mario Paint. Even though it had better 3-D effect than the 64.

Hey everyone! Did any of you know that the Mother series is called the Mother series because its creator tried to name it as un-video game related as he possiblly could?

The "Demonik" game in the movie "Grandmas Boy" in which the main character is secretly developing by himself was actually supposed to be an Aliens vs Predator game that was never fully developed. The creators of the game let the producers use several game play scenes in the movie.
