Sonic Gaiden


It's not a bad hack of Sonic.

Graphics,its the same as the Sega megadrive 16 bit with some alterations. There were some graphical glitches in some parts or the score/results weren't shown properly at the end of each act.

Sound ,the good old 16 bit Sega chip sounds.

Being able to play as Sonic or Mighty adds some replayability but its a shame you can't stomp or spin dash. There's no bonus stages so you can't collect any emeralds for another ending which shortens the gameplay, the zones were ok but it jumps to the next one without a boss a few times. Some parts were a bit annoying due to the layout, labyrinth zone for example.

Overall it wasn't bad to play,just wished it was a bit longer.

Difficulty, it wasn't too hard or too easy, lives & rings were plentiful, some instant death pits but not frustrating to go through the levels.
