Yes! If someone has a good personality, even if they are not the best looking person, they seem more attractive to you because you are attracted to their personality as well as their appearance. You can't really take them separately, they work with each other.

I got to go with personality on this one. Definitely when it comes to interaction and relationship bases. I want to deal with someone that has good character rather then someone that looks real good but is a complete jerk and such. Appearance is only good for first impressions and eye candy, it's what yo do after that, that really makes the difference.

As far as dating..it's a combination between both personality and appearance. Nobody wants to be with an unattractive person nor someone with a crappy, nasty attitude. When It comes to dating relationships, I think appearance is VERY important. If i find the person attractive, I try to make conversation and see where it goes from there. That's when personality comes in the picture. They can be supermodel material but if there's something I don't like...I certainly won't be talking to them anymore! So I think it's very important for both appearance and personality in a dating relationship...Again, I like this thread.

However, as time passes, personality weights more and more at the balance. One cannot expect to have a long relationship based merely in appearance. I don't really think this is possible. Just imagine, wasting 10 years of your life tied to a caveman Tom Cruise - someone extremely handsome but that can only speak peanuts, beer and football. That couldn't go very far
