So I've been trying to add some Microsoft Points (Xbox Live Currency) to my Xbox Live profile, so I can buy Perfect Dark and the Cerberus Network add-on for Mass Effect 2. However, I can't add any points. Here's what I do:

1.) Sign into XBL and go to profile then to "Account Management"
2.) I press the X button to go to the "Add Microsoft Points" menu
3.) I go to "2000 Microsoft Points" options and press A, only to have it tell me "Cannot authorize transaction"

There are funds in my parents' bank account. I even tried using my brother's credit card only to have it tell me the same thing. So I signed into his XBL to see if he had problems adding MS Points. He doesn't (there goes an extra $6 of my money ).

Has anybody had this problem? Please tell me how to fix this, I don't wanna have access to the XBL Marketplace only to be unable to purchase any DLC, Arcade games, or Videos.

I'd suggest just calling Microsoft, or look up the problem.
