This was an SMS favourite for me, and it's rather unique because I had the Sega Card copy, there was this and F-16 fighter (but I never could get any leeway through the latter game so I won't bother reviewing it) I don't know what other games got the Sega Card treatment, those are the only two I know of.
Gameplay and Story: Well all you do is go around and shooting little blue men, strange centipedes that remind me of the Pringles mascot, flying snails, green penguins, Dendens (that is literally what they are called they show up in round 3) and these yellow potato creatures that you have to shoot several times in order to defeat them
Graphics: They are nothing to write home about really but the way that everything is structured, I'll give them credit for being creative there is one round where the structures is shaped like a smiley face, and there's one shaped like a teddy bear, I don't know if there are any other shapes or designs out there as I have never gone beyond level 20
Sound: sadly this game doesn't have much to offer, same soundtrack for EVERY.SINGLE.ROUND except the bonus round of course, when you get an extra life you hear a rather pleasant sound
Addictive: oh believe me this game kept me coming back, especially when until 1997 I thought the game was lost for good, when it was under an old microwave in the basement
Depth: There are about 50 levels in this game and once you hit level 51 you are back at the beginning and let's be fair, you move around you see a defeated enemy ball, and if you keep moving you see that same one! I don't know what the proper term for that is though.
Difficulty: it depends on how much you've played it but I've never gone as far as level 51 as well those enemies can be such a PITA
Overall: I enjoyed this game when I was younger and I still do, sometimes a simple concept is all that is needed.
I give it a 10
