Wait what? this is his only GEN game? oh well. So I have played this and Miracle World and they are kind of similar how? well let's get into trying to tear this apart in similarities
Story/Gameplay: So if you wait long enough before you start playing this game, Alex will give you a description of who he is and what the game is about, he finds out his father is alive and he has to journey to Planet Paperock to find him. Alex has to get pretty good at Rock, Paper, Scissors if he is to survive, and get items (like another item recycled from Miracle World but I don't mind as that is a useful item) to help you in the game, but the helicopter is very difficult to try to use, and I can only recommend using the necklace if you are up against any of the bosses in the game (such as the Wizard or the Desert Queen)
Graphics: It's better than Miracle World though only a slight upgrade from the Lost Stars
Sound: They recycled the soundtrack from Miracle World, and a good chunk of the time in a few rounds I end up getting the Monkees Daydream Believer stuck in my head
Depth: They don't recycle rounds like they did in Lost Stars, but every level has it's challenges, avoiding things popping up, reminding ourselves to watch out when destroying certain green chests
Addictive: let's just say it keeps me coming back and leave it at that
Difficulty: I made it to the end of the game only once, and that was back in the summer of 2005, and it was such a challenge, it's harder than Lost Stars but easier than Miracle World. It's a worthy entry in the Alex Kidd saga, that said being this was the second to last entry in the series (at least until the Miracle World remake comes out sometime this year) I give this game a 7 out of 10
