Who else has dogs? One of my pups sheds a lot, and it's starting to become a hinderance in my apartment. I am looking for some kind of room... fan? vacuum? A thing that will suck all the hair out of the air and the room so that I won't need to brush her so extensively so often.
What do you use besides brushing and vacuuming constantly to combat the constand shedding of your dog?

I don't. I just let my dog spread his divine essence across my household. His fur permeates every crevice within, everything here contains a piece of him. He will follow me in spirit wherever I go.

Also you should designate an affection spot for your dog so that when you pet it the hair doesn't spread all over places you don't want it to be.

I suggest not using violence

Brushing and vacuuming was pretty much what we did. We didn't have any fancy shampoo or anything that would take away the shedding. What shampoo we used might have helped...I mean, I didn't really know.

But it was nice being able to brush my dog. I mean, she endured it pretty well. She was pretty patient with us.

A good pair of combat boots and a baton will do fine.

You can also get a air purifier. Most hardware stores have them. The filters on them can be a bit expensive to replace, but a good filter will do wonders.

It's just a machine that you sit in the corner of the room and it continuously filters air from your room. I'm not sure you'll notice a huge difference with the hair on things like the furniture, but it will remove the stuff floating in the air.

I'm actually going to get both dogs a haircut tomorrow. My vet recently told me it would be okay for the Great Pyreenes to get a haircut down to a quarter inch. Should help with the shedding for at least the rest of the summer.
