So it has been a good three years since I posted, let alone registered, here. I must admit I lost interest in Vizzed and video games in general for quite a long period of time, especially after that infamous Nintendo incident, but recently I started to get back into playing video games, mainly Super Mario Odyssey. In terms of Vizzed, the name just came back to me so I made my return playing a couple of Sonic games and, to my surprise, Vizzed still seems to have an active community. I've been seeing some familiar usernames on recent threads like Ex Palen, Eirinn, zanderlex, and tornadocam.
Back when I joined the site in mid-2015, I was 16 years old and originally said on the forum that I wanted to become an independent game developer, hence my username. Well... My ambitions have changed dramatically. Having just turned 20 (not being a teenager anymore makes me feel so immature it is depressing), I am now a community college student taking a web development program and my main hobbies now consist of making digital artwork and composing music, though mostly the former. And, to be honest, while I am maintaining great grades and understanding most of the material so far, I don't feel like I am putting my full potential into my college program. Nevertheless, I have a good job at my college and have been gaining financial independence in the past year or so.
If I had to pick my favorite college course, it would probably be HTML/CSS, because it is design-oriented, on the front end side of web development, and I feel more artistically inclined than logically inclined in general. Though I've taken a web server class which had pretty intriguing material as well.
On a final note, I forgot that I uploaded a high score for the Tengen Pac-Man game on the NES. And that score is still in third place. I'm not sure if I should be proud or indifferent of that.
